You'd hate my draft folder. Every little half thought email is saved there almost like a random scratch pad or sticky note. I go there occasionally to remember what the hell I was doing.

I could see this being a hilarious mock up between Mars attacks, where like someone figured out the song did it instead someone find out our minds can do it and tries to convince people and ending in a somewhat don't look up fashion where people are all debating it instead of just doing it. Until there are like 5 people left who believe and it works.

I was just thinking that I never bother emptying my drafts folder, probably because it's so slow to fill up compared to my other email folders. I have ~50 emails in there.
Most of them are just blank emails, where I must have started a new email and then got distracted and never got back to it. I have one email to my boss about a weird, minor issue on our website that I just can't figure out the cause of and have spent far too much time trying to fix. I just wrote it, but I'm too high right now, so I'm waiting to read it again sober to make sure I don't sound weird hahaha.

(2020) a reply to a group email that had been going back and forth with some strongly worded disagreements. The one guy is dead now. Glad I didn't send it, I didn't really need to win the argument.
(2017) a receipt for some materials I ordered for a social gaming group
(2011) a link to a craigslist job listing and my resume from the time. Unclear what the job was, probably some webshit or SEO
(2009) a few copywriting ideas I was working on to send to my then wife before we decided to divorce
(2008) Browser usage stats. From what, I don't remember. I was dabbling in so many things back then. They look pretty representative of the time, so I guess it doesn't matter.

24 Jan, 2010: A chain email that I forgot to forward ahead. You can count the number of footers and determine how many forwards it took for that email to reach me.

Oh gosh.
A shopping list of irrigation components I need to purchase.
A list of names of artists.
A list of assorted 3d modelling tutorials.
Image files of unknown type made between 1988 and 1994 that I'm trying to figure out how to identify and open.
Whatever weird thing that pops into my head. Usually slice of life, silly stuff, occasional angst. Current ongoing thing is... Just the Joker owning a coffee shop, and Batman likes to hang out there.

My Christmas list for this year. Really and truly! It means I have actual answers instead of being put on the spot and asked what I want around the end of November.
I also have a Trello board FULL of ideas for Christmas/ birthday gifts for all my friends and family; I listen to them throughout the year and periodically add things in so that they always end up with something good from me too.

A lot of that is workflow for me, I'll get an issue, hit reply, save it to drafts, and then fix the issue and send the mail back. One of the ones that's actually more than 2 weeks old is an HR survey that I literally just can't . . . shit's like 9 pages and entirely in email . . . Another one is for the interns to their college, I put my first month of thoughts in already and will finish when they are done in 4 weeks. The other two are just problems out of my scope that I have forwarded to programming, but keeping my response draft just in case.

Neat and orderly. I respect that.

Change this to Notes app and see all the half baked 4am screenplay ideas start rolling in.
Tell me the weirdest one!

I do similar and I definitely hold on my angry emails to make sure I come off okay.

Enjoy the cringe :)
Oh gosh.
And over 100 more of similar vein.
I wonder if there is a link between draft folder management styles and personality types?
...someone should do a study.
Aww, I'm boring. I have zero drafts!
...don't ask me about my fanfic drafts tho.
What kind of fanfic do you write?

Current ongoing thing is... Just the Joker owning a coffee shop, and Batman likes to hang out there.
Do you post your stuff online?
Oh, yea! The aforementioned Joker Coffeehouse AU is here. You can poke around that account for my other fanfic, too.
I love the cozy tone of the narrative. Such an interesting concept, and I think you really executed it well. You are super talented.
Right now a bunch of notes that I've taken during telehealth appointments.
