It's impossible to buy an automobile without signing an arbitration agreement. We really need better legislation in the US.

Comment on The water myth (how much water do you need?) in ~health
Dralan I too experience this, but not all the time. Drinking colder water seems to help offset this, at least for me. Sometimes I mix 75% water with 25% fruit juice just to avoid the nausea.I too experience this, but not all the time. Drinking colder water seems to help offset this, at least for me. Also, there are far more participants in the crowd than can be picked up to flee in the participating cars. I think that if it were a priority, at least the participants could be arrested.

I saw many posts by users to the effect of, "this doesn't affect me, so why should I care?" I suspect those types will stick around. Only time will tell what becomes of Reddit, but they've already lost their AMA mods, as well as other facets that made the platform interesting.

This thing seems to have hundreds of virtual pedals that you can combine with amps, speaker cabinets, and effects to produce wildly different tones. It probably took me almost a year before I felt comfortable tinkering with it, without having to look things up or watch YouTube videos every time.
The second point will be figuring out if you want to pair it with an amp (you'll need to make sure your amp isn't modeling IR while this is modeling IR), if you want to buy an FRFR speaker (I ended up buying a Headrush 108), or if you just want to use it with your PC via an audio input device or USB. You could also just use it directly with headphones.

It's probably not as good as plugins on a computer, but it does way more than I need at this point, is portable, and has an expression pedal that can do wah effects among other things. For recording, it outputs two sets of stereo channels via USB, one for the wet signal and the other for dry.
If you're like me and have limited space while on a budget, and want something that you can experiment with and create new signal chains on, this isn't a bad setup at all.

Comment on Reddit is Fun, Apollo, BaconReader, and other third-party Reddit apps have officially shut down in ~tech

It's sad that a fragile, manchild's ego has done the damage that it has. I have deleted my 9+ year-old Reddit account and am not looking back. I am excited to see what you come up with for Tildes though!
The federal law only made it illegal to sell an unregistered firearm. You could legally make one for your own personal use, but that used to be very difficult. Making one and selling it is a felony. Since the advent of 3D printers and home lathes, many states have outlawed the "for your own personal use" part.
