Usually i do get angry at drivers that seem to think that after dark there is no need to stop for pedestrians. If i was just on a walk i would be more like "yeah, they be like that" and forget about the incident.

    • Works like regular optical on table, just pick up and start using it on air seamlessly.
    • I think it's actually Gyro, it's so precise. Does drift though. (sometimes small amounts while doing precision and sometimes a lot)
    • The volume control is seriously amazing. Press a button and move the mouse up or down in air, hear exact distance clicks from the mouse as you move it.

It's odd that the tale of it ended on the first product. Might have been too expensive for a mouse at the time.

Though, it's odd that it's only accelerometer. All the other controllers are gyro. Maybe Microsoft messed it up on the slide.

Edit: Oh, it might be just for the "Lift to wake" -feature. Not really for gameplay. Which means no gyro aiming for Microsoft this time either.

I cant really have anything in my ears so i have used generated noise for years. Used to play it from a phone to a speaker, but it's a hazard because of the battery. (one actually swolled up) So i bought a stupidly cheap "computer speakers" that had USB stick-playback and are only powered by regular usb-charger. They have been running a 15 hour noise file in a loop in my bedroom for a year now. All day long, it even starts automatically if the power goes out.

What is still a problem is that when i sleep, my ears adapt to certain frequencies that get filtered out of the noise. I end up hearing really annoying distortions as a result if i wake up in the middle of the night. What once was like a sound of a windy trees "chuuuuuu" can end up sounding like "bu-bu-bu-bu-buuu-bu-bu-bu"

This adds that and two more triggers. I really have to consider this if the implementation is good.

The battery life is horrible though. I'm constantly charging up the ps5 controller and this has similar battery, the switch pro lasts forever.

That linked website is fantastic to read, like a book. Then i open a verge article and the font is twice the size.

Didn't expect to see Unexpected-Keyboard here.

I went on a journey to replace the bloated google keyboards and microsoft swiftkeys with something lighter and something that doesn't change randomly. I went through the usual suspects of the FOSS world and randomly stumbled into the unexpected. It was actually something i could use.

    • Copy/Paste always available
    • No "privacy mode" that changes how your keyboard works. based on text field (Like hides paste functionality)
    • You can swipe individual keys to corners for extra buttons. Keeps the keyboard in manageable size.
    • Has Ctrl, ESC & Select all -buttons and much more.

My only problem with it is that the spacekey swiping that scrolls left&right through the letters can scroll past the text field. It can get stuck on interface elements. For example if you want to return back to the end of your sentence, you might scroll past it and have "send" button of the app activated.

I'd love to have an e-scooter, but they don't' really work in the winter and i need something that will haul my tired body and back bag through -20c winter storm.

I do get envious during the summer though, looks so much fun.
