I sold off or trashed all that worthless garbage and moved on to reading books non-stop. But that flame is also burning out and I'm running out of interests to hyper focus on.

Military surplus:
down filled mummy sleeping bags (the less synthetic materials the less you sweat)
Wool blankets (they're itchy to remind you how lucky you really are)
Desert combat boots (excellent for yard work, construction etc)
Ammo cans (for nearly indestructible storage needs)
A trench shovel (always keep in your car)Other stuff I can think of:
A bidet
A good multi tool like Gerber or leatherman (I have a few but the leatherman micra is my favorite)
A bench top power supply -

Not_Enough_Gravitas Good thing they're dime a dozen at Walmart! I take one with me camping/fishing all the time. One is stainless steel and the other clear glass with an obnoxiously blue LED illuminating the base of it.Good thing they're dime a dozen at Walmart!

Not_Enough_Gravitas Amazing how different the culture and cultural expectations are between east and west!Amazing how different the culture and cultural expectations are between east and west!
I used to dislike the holidays greatly. The whole family drama, being forced to attend religious services, the sloppy levels of drinking and arguing etc.
These days I ignore it all, don't attend any religious nonsense, and don't drink. I show up, eat the food, and enjoy the moment for what it is - another holiday spent with my family, a family who is aging and who one day will be gone.
