If you like more slow, creeping, Lovecraft inspired horror, Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia is also great.

I still do not understand the obsession with trying to run video games at resolutions like 4K? 1080p at 60+ frames per second with a high refresh rate like 144Hz is more than enough for the human eye to visually process and make games look beautiful. That is definitely enough for me on my gaming rig.

Maybe I just don't get it?

Edited my resume and hung out with my partner and our puppy. Did some studying for classes and decided to try out Windows Server to learn Active Directory.

I am trying to mark out some ideas for a musical album. Not sure where I want to take it at the moment, just playing around with some synths.

I am still very much trying to get out my lurker mentality when it comes to online forums, and so Tildes really helps me feel comfortable posting and commenting more.

I have not posted much, but when I have the responses I have received have been very kind and informative. I kind of feel like Tildes is kind of like a community coffee shop or small bookstore where you can sit down and chat or browse and strike up an open, civil conversation with someone as you are wandering around.

I make this fagioli like soup, except without pasta and instead has kale and beans. Super savory and dense. Always hits the spot and I make a huge pot so I can eat it over several days.

I am also learning to code C++ at the moment, but I'm not sure if that would come in handy for what I would like to do? What programming languages do you recommend learning? There are just so many and I'm not entirely sure which to go for.

Thanks for the help, I hope this clarifies some things.

Cool, in the class that I'm taking we are going over a lot of networking information and tech. Its based on the CompTIA Networking+ standards.

As a kid, I had only really watched Dragon Ball Z and Pokemon. It wasn't until I got to high school that I really got into anime, as my friends were all into it as well. I think started with Cowboy Bebop as my first show, which was fucking amazing. After I finished that, I was hooked. Started watching more anime than american TV on a daily basis.

On Android, I have been playing Mini Metro. It's a nice mix of puzzle and time based strategy as you need to expand the metro system farther in a limited amount of time before your previous stops and trains get overwhelmed. It also has a free build mode where you can spend time laying out the system of your dreams.
