It's a campy sci-fi horror in which Paris Hilton gets her face ripped off. And it's also an opera. I also enjoy Jesus Christ Superstar but that is very nostalgia fueled so that's less of a recommendation, more of an admission of a guilty pleasure.

I'm in the market for something that's no nonsense, no spirituality/mysticism, and not some gym-rat barking orders at me. I just want to get stretchier and a bit less squishy in the middle. To quote my buddy Cairne, "My old bones ache. I pray this old body does not fail me."

I installed Matrix to see about bridging my Google Chat into Nextcloud Talk (but the Nextcloud-Matrix bridge isn't working for me at the moment). I reconfigured my Apache sites config files to be less monolithic so I can add subdomains easier and got mod_proxy working properly. I also set up self-hosted EtherCalc. Now I have to play catch-up on the new functionality that ntfy has added on my self-hosted instance of that in the past few releases. Lots of technical debt taken care of. :-D So much more documentation to write... :-/

There is 20 extra minutes but a lot of it is rough cut and doesn't add a lot.

Now I just have to let it run for a while to see if it works and where to optimize it. Then maybe I can stop procrastinating the public release of the tildes keyboard navigation userscript I adapted/made if there's any interest in it.

I always try to remember "if a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing badly." Don't have the energy to brush your teeth for the dentist recommended 2 minutes before crawling into bed and crying yourself to sleep? At least knock some of the crumbs out of your remaining molars with your dry toothbrush and swish with some water or mouthwash. Can't be bothered to take the trash out? Grab whatever's smelliest and toss it in the bin on the way to the store. Every little bit helps.

Hades was really good though. I also enjoyed Risk of Rain and Dead Cells.

You can enable and disable them as needed. You could set your last gmail account to forward all email to a simplelogin alias, then whenever anything comes in on that alias you can log into that service and change the email. That's how I finally got rid of my gmail accounts.

For years I was wearing a G-Shock GW-M5610-1B but for the past 6 months I've been wearing a Bangle.js 2. It's an open-source hackable smart watch that is programmed in JavaScript. Being open-source was a huge selling point, but it is also privacy respecting, has a pretty decent battery life, and an always on e-ink screen which were necessities for me to switch to a smart watch.
