Hey, @gabriel here. I've been on reddit under a few different accounts for 7+ years. I'm concerned about the direction they are taking toward being a more 'social media' type platform. I just wanna read interesting articles, listen to new music and have good conversations. I feel like that's still possible on reddit but is becoming increasingly challenging.

Other than that, I'm a fairly average 30-year-old, straight, white male. I enjoy reading, relaxing, and a variety of outdoor pursuits. I work as a Data Scientist for a SaaS organization and enjoy doing a little exploration of interesting data in my free time.

Haha, love that there are like 3 people from SC in here and two of us went to the UofM.

That's an interesting comparison that puts some of what I've read about Bavaria into a more understandable/explainable context. Thanks!

Yeah, I think this will likely be what I end up doing as well. Loved the first season, watched half of S02E01 and will likely just wait until it's all out to get back in on it.

I think this is an excellent suggestion to avoid bandwagoning, so long as the functionality to sort by most votes remains available for those of us short on time ;)

I don't know what recycling programs or level of environmental education exist in Kenya so my thoughts might be irrelevant, but I think that if the people can't be counted on to responsibly discard of the waste then imposing somewhat serious consequences is certainly one way to dramatically shift the status-quo. However, jail time seems a bit harsh. Difficult to form an opinion about from the other side of the planet, though. I don't know how serious the problem actually is.

This is an excellent point, and even though it's not a freedom of speech issue, Steam has every right to refuse to sell any game they don't want on their platform.

I think I already milked Monster for everything I'm going to get back in the days of buying 1/4" instrument cables and getting free replacements every time I'd run over them with a cab or road case.
