Check out The Congress - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1821641/ Rather a trippy film in the latter part but a great film about where acting could go heading towards with the rise of technology.

I'd recommend yogic teachings which are very similar to stoicism. Books like Bhagavad Gita and Yoga Sutra - very deep.

Yes. One Outs is dope. It's not even about baseball as much it is about human nature and psychology.

Ram Dass (Richard Alpert) wrote in his book Be Here Now - his life was distinctively broken down into three stages: social sciences > psychedelics > yogi.

Strangely enough, I can totally relate to that...

It's way deeper than people realize.

The narrative you describe is like each one of us is a drop of water that fell out of the ocean. We think we are water but fail to realize the ocean is where we came from.

Our life's practice is to realize the illusion (maya) that separates us from the whole and seek the path to reunite with the ocean itself.

    Hard work...

Nice man! I've became a minimalist about 5 years ago. It's amazing how little we actually need if you get down to the essence. Even though I have most of my stuff in one bag, it still feels like I have some stuff that I don't really use often.

It does make me appreciate the material possessions I have more now albeit I still need to remind myself that they're only 'stuff'...

To realize you are not your thoughts but the observer of your thoughts and perceiver of all of your senses...

That it took 13.8 billion years for this moment that's unfolding in front of you to happen exactly the way it did. So chill and enjoy the moment, moment by moment ;)

I love my Tom Bihn Synapsis 25. It's my one-bag that I carry around all the time with me whether be work or travel. It has all the pockets for all of the gadgets I have.

Plus you got those helicopter parents who boils their kid and think they deserve a top grade too. I'd bet the constant barges from them are stressful as well.

It's a great movie about the backstory to get to The Hollywood Bowl sprinkled with lives performances of some pieces.

    I'd recommend checking it out.

As far as borrowing goes, I remember in the movie they said they had converted all of their previous music from house/trance into acoustic versions and make them into two albums.
