    Just FYI, if you happen to be a Texas resident with a valid DL or State ID, you can sign up for the Houston Public Library digital only membership, which does include Libby for free, as well as Hoopla and Kanopy.

    Is this automatic? I don't see an update and I don't see any partners although I'm sure my library would have partners.

      Should be, others have reported a prompt when they open Libby. You could double check with Reciprocard, and if your libraries are already attached, it may not prompt you again....

      My IL library does not have any partners, I believe most of IL is part of one of a few systems rather than partnering like this. I know my small town is on the same system as a nearby city but not...

      My IL library does not have any partners, I believe most of IL is part of one of a few systems rather than partnering like this. I know my small town is on the same system as a nearby city but not the same one as my hometown was about an hour away.

      We already share the access basically. (Ymmv with any given library district)
