That is super cool, now I can go beyond the three libraries that I already have cards for in Libby.
Just FYI, if you happen to be a Texas resident with a valid DL or State ID, you can sign up for the Houston Public Library digital only membership, which does include Libby for free, as well as Hoopla and Kanopy.
New York City Library has a similar benefit if you are a resident of New York State.
Newport News (Virginia) library seems to be state-wide, much larger selection than my local one.
I have primary access to two libraries on Libby: one big city and one small city. The small city has partnerships with a bunch of other small-medium city libraries, which I've set up access to for a couple years now.
It's shocking to me just how much the big-city library blows the combined partner network out of the water by orders of magnitude. Without access to the big-city library, audiobooks would be nearly inaccessible to me; often none of the other libraries have even a single copy available (or if they do, often a long wait for just one or two copies).
Anyway, excellent update by libby (it's flagged one partner library I missed), and support your local library!
Is this automatic? I don't see an update and I don't see any partners although I'm sure my library would have partners.
When I first opened the app to check, there was nothing. I switched back to Tildes to finish reading the post, then switched back to Libby and it suddenly refreshed itself and showed me a message telling me about all my partner libraries. So maybe check again or try reinstalling the app?
Should be, others have reported a prompt when they open Libby. You could double check with Reciprocard, and if your libraries are already attached, it may not prompt you again.

Edit: It just updated for me, might need to close it and restart?
My IL library does not have any partners, I believe most of IL is part of one of a few systems rather than partnering like this. I know my small town is on the same system as a nearby city but not the same one as my hometown was about an hour away.
We already share the access basically. (Ymmv with any given library district)

Now, it would be really cool if they incorporate libraries with paid non-resident cards right into the app. I used to subscribe to Houston’s and Fairfax’s libraries (and maybe Brooklyn? I can’t remember), but managing my accounts and renewing them was a pain. If I could do it right in Libby though…
Odd, it's not showing up for me. I've tried restarting the app, the phone, and even reinstalling, and nothing. It's possible that none of my three libraries have partnerships, but I'd be surprised if King County didn't have anything.
It would seem that the update is not happening for everyone all at once. You can check your libraries with Reciprocard just to make sure or sign up manually.

I’m so mad my library stopped using libby and created their own bug-ridden shitty app for e-books that I can’t even use with my e-reader anymore 😩
