In the great big Metroidvania of life, Prey (2017) is what, uh, "unlocked" im-sims for me. I'd tried Deus Ex and System Shock 2 back in the day but never really jived with the gameplay. After seeing people suggest that Prey (2017) should've really been called Neuroshock or something similar, I grabbed it last minute for free via the Epic giveaways two years ago. Best gaming deal of my life.
It's still worth it at $3. It's still worth it at $30. Play it.

Also, if you've got a racing wheel Assetto Corsa is probably my favorite non specific racing game. Even better with VR.
I will kick this off with Half Life Alyx ($20.40): https://store.steampowered.com/app/546560/HalfLife_Alyx/ Probably the best VR game so far, in terms of realism and everything.

Seconding Alyx. Literally stayed up all night when I should've been packing up to move to finish the game while my VR rig was still set up. It probably doesn't have the replayability of Hot Dogs, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades or Beat Saber but it's the first VR game I've played that's had a real good story to go along with it.
I'm sure in ten years time it'll be considered basic and such for the medium but if you play it now you'll get to have nostalgia for it then too.

Oh God, Starfield is on sale already. I wanted to finish Baldur's Gate 3 before I started that and I'm still in Act 1. Where does the time go? And Jedi Survivor is 40% off. I enjoyed the original...

And Jedi Survivor is 40% off. I enjoyed the original and wanted to play this eventually, but it got criticized on launch for being a shoddy port with bad performance. Anyone know how they're doing now?
I'd probably say wait, I'm guessing that Starfield will go on sale further for winter. I played 80 hours of it and I definitely enjoyed it, but no point in buying it now haha.

I looked at my current library and said: "yup, I have plenty to keep me busy 'til the big Winter sale." Then I realised that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 is finally on Steam, and 60% off to boot....

Currently It Takes Two is also on sale for historical low, https://store.steampowered.com/app/1426210/It_Takes_Two/ Probably one of my favorite games in the last couple of years, always fun to...

Enjoy!! I really loved the remake, its really really fun! I played the originals when I was young and it's mostly like I remembered.

Probably one of my favorite games in the last couple of years, always fun to play with a friend too!
gog.com has a sale too.
itch.io has a Comics for Gaza's Children charity bundle.
