Nice. As a cozy gamer I'm very pleased at the number of cozy games on that list. Gonna write down a few to look up trailers for later. Minami Lane, Flock, Botany Manor, Little Kitty Big City. And...

Minami Lane, Flock, Botany Manor, Little Kitty Big City. And Lil Guardsman looks the most promising, as a lighthearted Papers Please? Yes please.

1000xResist promises depiction of Hong Kong with.... Mandarin. I guess it's a futuristic dystopia afterall.

Edit: jokes aside here's the trailer for 1000xResist - was thinking okay this is like Nier Automata but sadder I guess, and then 01:20 hit and I felt a gut punch. I will be locating this game and playing it as soon as I have time

I laughed pretty hard at this too. One of my childhood friends speaks some Cantonese from growing up in Hong Kong.

I might be biased but I think it's a great language to be able to understand and speak. So fun! So much spunk! So easy to make and understand new (rhyme/word or otherwise non reference based)...

I've been on a board game kick again and I've been seeing a lot of chatter about Arks, and Wyrmspan. I'm kinda itching to try it but there are too many games that need to hit the table!

We picked up Wyrmspan a couple months ago and really enjoy it. We are already fans of Wingspan and this added new mechanics while still being familiar in the base rules. I really appreciated that I didn't have to learn a whole new style of plan and then figure out a strategy to make it work.

Is it better than Wingspan? I know my sister has been wanting to learn Wingspan, but I feel like it's better to just get into Wyrmspan if it's already there, unless it's like drastically different

I wouldn't say it's better or worse. It does have a few more mechanics which make strategy a lot more difficult to figure out. I agree with @skoocda that it may be best to try Wingspan first....

Wyrmspan has caves that you need to discover first before being able to place a dragon (bird) in the habitat. It also has an additional guild track that awards more rewards to the players.

Wyrmspan is a bit more difficult to pick up on your first playthrough. I'd recommend at least trying Wingspan once or twice prior.

But I'm a sucker for any Cole Wherle game, so..

I have not played a single game on this list, although I have heard of them. I might give them a try!
