The server operates on a soft whitelist. Anyone can log in and walk around, but you need a Tildes account to gain build access.
New weekly thread! Time for some screenshots! This time I didn't really take specific screenshots for this purpose, but I still made a few.

I love the high altitude ones, they remind me of satellite imagery. I can almost see my house from there.
I'll do a few more with that exact intend and see if I can get a bit more on there :)
I know you have distant horizons, but the fact you can see my tower from town is mind boggling
Oh yeah, viewing distance with DH is insane, a lot of details get lost things way in the distance and there some oddities with how light behaves. But overall I really do like it.
It does make the world feel a bit smaller, but also more cohesive and actually a world, as things are not just spots within mist.
That "Darkness" one looks wicked. The sun almost looks like a glowing pyramid.
Thanks again for posting these. I have been thoroughly sucked in to the 1.0 update of Satisfactory and expect I'll be doing that for a while, so I imagine I'll not be on the server as much. It's great to check the thread and see the happenings while I'm off building a mess of conveyor belts on an alien planet. :)
Just because I felt like it I enabled that specific shader and did a round of screenshots around your beach resort around sunset.
@GravySleeve, your volcano also contrasts really nicely in these screenshots!
Wow! The silhouette of my volcano looks frickin awesome! I don't trust my laptop to try running these shaders myself, but I might recommend people use them if they can when they visit!
Edit: Could you do me a favor and take some closeups of my volcano for people to see? I've taken a bunch of pics but forgot my login to tildes so I haven't been able to quickly post them. :D

Sweet! The torchflowers really threw me for a second with those shaders. I thought someone spammed the area with horrible torches!
Boooh! Although I also did spent a lot of time in Satisfactory a while ago playing together with a few people, so I fully understand ;)
I believe that I used the Hysteria shaderpack for the dark screenshots. Mostly because I was curious about the looks. I was not disappointed, it truly changes the feeling of the game to something horror themed. Also makes it really difficult to play during night and other low light places.
There's a mod I tried called Euphoria Patches which tweaks a bunch of cool settings in complimentary. I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't already. I was reminded because one of the presets has a "spooky" mode (can't remember the exact name in the settings) which is very terrifying.
EXTRA EXTRA! MONSTER IS APPROACHING TOWN, fun little add-on to complimentary. :D
Spooklementary, which is indeed quite spooky. Doesn't work properly with DH and water though :(

Did you try out the seasons setting? I thought that was really cool as well.
I did not, but I have some time before work, so I decided to check it out. I really like winter, although the other seasons also look very nice.

As I am still waiting for my GPU to arrive (USPS being frustratingly slower than expected), I have been vicariously living through these updates and watching the dynamap. I have seen some cool builds pop up and some new names appear. I am excited to be able to finally explore these new builds soon. For the newer players, it is worth mentioning that you can have a marker placed on the dynamap where your base is. If I recall, @Noox left a book and quill at the town message board to put your name and coords down to be added if you want.
I haven't seen Noox online in a little while, I am pretty sure she mentioned everyone is able to add markers. So I might look into it later today to update some locations.
I collected some network analytics and sent them over to the server host to try and debug the occasional connection issues. I'm currently getting packet loss over my fiber connection, but not when using a VPN, which should indicate to them that they have some weird network config.

Yeah, that's what I have been leaning towards as well. Even suggested someone to try using a vpn to debug this a few days ago.

@Mendanbar I have a plan for a couple of the billboards you put up. I'm gonna change one to warn of potential volcanic eruptions, and I think another will become an ad for the fireworks shop! Hoping to work on these soon as a quick side project!

I saw that Bront made a statue, so I decided to do the same, but it is my skin.

I used https://axospyeyes.github.io/Skin2StatueLive/ and https://minecraftart.netlify.app/editor to make a schematic file, then used the Litematica mod to figure out what materials I needed, and where to place which block.
For those looking to do the same, since the schematic made is a flat representation of the statue you need to import the schematic into a creative world using the world edit mod, then you need to line up each piece with each other so it's 3d then make a schematic of it. The //copy and //paste commands are all you need to use to make it 3d, It's a bit finicky though.

It felt like a great place to put it. Design is by Jeracraft with some slight modifications.
@GravySleeve forgot to ping you yesterday. But somehow I ended up breaking one of the armor stands next to the fireworks shop by just standing next to it while being AFK.
I think it got smashed by the snow golem throwing a curveball to me. I left the parts that ended up in my inventory in a shulker box next to it.
No worries! I found and fixed it already!
Not quite sure what was causing it, but it created a really cool effect.

Yeah, looks like the pirate ship crew has angered the wrong deity this time. Or they might just be part of whatever more is coming over the horizon....
