In a world where it often feels like everything keeps getting darker, Valve is a shining beacon.
Except for allowing and arguably encouraging children (and adult) to gamble.
Otherwise, yes, they do seem to make a lot of good business choices which generally benefit everyone (though not always! But it's impossible to make everyone happy.)
Also still need to see how these price parity court cases shake out. But in the meantime I'll give them props for a move that overall seems symbiotic to the customer and business alike. You sadly see that much less these days.
This is cool. I hadn’t noticed the discounts / events being more geared towards my interests; I’ll have to keep an eye out. What I did notice is the new “release calendar” being almost exclusively games I’d be interested in. My wishlist has grown so much more quickly since they added that feature..! Very clever move on their part indeed.
