I agree that it's grindy, but the grinding is the fun part, for me at least, so I really don't mind it as long as I get to keep flying around cutting down enemies as a space ninja.
That makes sense. I don't know, for me it's like every single level they throw a new machine at me that's not really explained. And then it turns out I have to go through multiple worlds and...

Honestly unlocking new warframes and weapons starts happening a lot faster than you would think after you get going, I pretty much never had a moment where I didn't have something new being crafted after the first few hours learning the ropes of the game. You definitely need to have the wiki open in a second window for a lot of the game though. I wish they could spend some time improving the game's onboarding process, but they'd lose a lot of veteran players if they spent that much time without introducing new content.
And that's one of my problems. I don't like games where I have to be constantly looking things up, I like just playing the game and getting to know everything as I get through it. Well, that and I...

I tried the game for a week, more or less, but really can't stand games that force me to have to alt-tab or have a second screen with a wiki open on it. Just explain things to me as soon as I need...

Just explain things to me as soon as I need to learn them, for god sake.
Edit: I forgot, for a new player, coming in right now it's super confusing. I enjoy the story in a videogame but so much of Warframe is not explained because, again, you're supposed to go hunting for info in a wiki page. I mean, I could understand having to do that for some advanced things... but even to understand why the hell those guys are attacking this place / those other guys? No thanks.
I've been playing since late 2014. I love the hell out of that game and community, and I've put in roughly 700 hours. I'm still MR14 though lol. At this point I'm just waiting for the Venus update

Tbh I know next to nothing about Fortuna; I've been keeping myself blind on it. I don't even know the distinction between Fortuna and Railjack. It's gonna be a wild ride!

Warframe is probably one of the best f2p games out there right now. I have about 100 hours into it right now and have a max Excalibur and almost maxed out frost prime, multiple weapons and mods,...

-Stick with it. It's complicated at first. -Only spend the Platinum you first get (in-game currency) on weapon and Warframe (the different "classes") slots. Don't speed anything up. -Maybe read...

We have a few people on the TRS80 discord that have switched from Destiny to Warframe, let me know if you want an invite, they're pretty active in Warframe.

Yeah. That's so true. My only suggestion is to just stick with it. It gets really good if you just keep playing.
This is pretty much my feelings for it. Looks fun I've just heard it's very grind-heavy and I don't have the time to grind anymore.
I do! Havent had the time too much lately, but when the opportunity arises I love to.

Yeah. Fortuna looks awesome. Are you excited about Railjack too?

I actually just downloaded it, but I haven't tried it yet. Any advice for someone who's brand spanking new to the game?
