On this page, I see posts, but no comments. It's a see of death. The same is true of all game design subreddits. Despite this being a thing a lot of people find interesting, there doesn't seem to be any really successful community oriented way to talk about this type of thing.
What types of posts do you think we could make to bring this space to life?
Personally, I think in-depth reviews of games you've played a lot are the way to go. Say you're a grandmaster at chess. Give it a review. Have you played Monopoly into the ground? Critique it. I'd like to start discussing here to, what other ways are there to liven this up?
I also may start posting speculative designs. So, game rulesets I've come up with, asking for comments from others on what they think I should look out for.

What are some of the longest running gaming series that have had consistently good entries?

This is, of course, subjective, so go with whatever your feelings are. Also, you can choose to judge quality as based on the time of the game's release, or by current standards. However you choose to evaluate the question, I'm interested in hearing about which series haven't faltered in releasing good titles across a large number of entries or span of time.
I also think it would be fun to examine some that barely miss the mark: series that are almost entirely great -- if only weren't for those one or two titles that really brought them down.

A few questions about the game:
- Umbral Engrams. I find it weird that we are bombarded with these constantly yet we can only decode them after doing contact which is lvl 990 content.
- It seems I've reached a lvl cap of ~1000 on the gear I'm getting.
- How do I obtain upgrade modules?
- Aside from dismantling Legendary gear (which I just found out I can get by increasing reputation with different NPCs), is there a better way to obtain Legendary shards?
- Any advice on an up-to-date website for reference? Some type wiki for example. Many times I look up for answers and I get an article from 2018 that is totally outdated.
- I play on PS4. Anyone has a group I can join and try Raids with?

Okay, so it's been around now for a year and a half. What's the good, bad, and ugly? I know they've got free games every week, I know they've got a bunch of timed exclusives, and I hear they've still got kinks to iron out. I'm primarily asking from the perspective of an occasional gamer who prefers to be as hassle-free, launcher-free, and DRM-free as possible.

Take, share, and then tell us about a meaningful or interesting screenshot from a game you're playing

The screenshot can be of anything you want to show off: a beautiful moment, a hard-earned achievement, a creative triumph, a funny visual glitch, etc. Take a screenshot of your game and then post it here, telling us what game it's from and, more importantly, why you chose that particular moment to highlight. What does it mean to you?
Also, if you're gaming on something that doesn't allow for easy screenshotting (e.g. older hardware or handhelds), feel free to snap a picture of the screen itself with a camera.

So recently I've been playing Destiny 2. After you launch the game you need to press "X" for the game to start loading (which takes multiple minutes, it's ridiculous).
I've seen this in other games and I never understood the point. Yes I want to move past that screen, load the game and play it. Do you guys know why game developers do this?
