If you open up a javascript console and paste:
Permissions.can_paste=function(){returntrue;};
you'll then be able to paste text/ascii art from your clipboard.
I've been using this to compose ascii art in notepad, then transfer it to the YWoT canvas. So far I've done a tildes start button in the lower left (shoutout to /r/place), as well as a sorta graffiti style tildes logo under Gen. Ackbar.
Your World of Text is an infinite grid of text editable by any visitor. The changes made by other people appear on your screen as they happen. Everyone starts in the same place, but you can scroll through the world using your mouse.
Put any letters at the end of the URL to go to a new world. For example, http://yourworldoftext.com/forexample. They all start off blank. You can also create a custom world for you and your friends.
It's an infinite grid of cells to which anyone can type a letter, overwriting whatever is in the cell. So it allows for a sort of multiplayer ascii graffiti.

Neat. Works horribly in mobile though, since the keyboard has to pop up every time you touch the canvas, making movement hard. Also the 'builds' y'all are making are pretty cool.

Fluff, but the good kind! :) /noise
this is my favorite thing on the internet.
Heartwarming low-stakes communal nonsense was exactly what I needed right now. Thanks for sharing this!

Please do not use this power for evil.
What am I looking at here? I have no context for this. It just looks like random gibberish to me.

Edit: You can click on a spot and start typing to add your own text.
So it's like that "place" thing Reddit did a few years ago, but with letters instead of colours.
Thanks for the explanation.

completely not pulled off the internet!
I couldn't find the fortress for the life of me!
Turn on coordinates (upper right button) and navigate to X:4, Y:2 :)

I love all of the stuff in here. So many little treasures.
My favorite so far is the long road of >>>>>>>>>> that kicks off on the right side of the page.
I'm glad that someone found the part after the road "ended". I was worried I put it too far away :)
Thanks for carrying the torch <3
I hope you carried on until past X500? :P

It continues, go to the right a lil longer :P

-- I was pasting a thousand at a time. :)I love this so much. I made an account! I kind of want to use it for comments on my website or something.
Very nice. Like reddit's Place but with text.
