...You know, weirdly enough this somehow feels like it could have better potential than Shrek 5, at least. As far as comic relief characters go, Donkey feels actually fairly solid and capable of standing on his own without Shrek as a direct foil. Just need to have the right surrounding cast for him to play off of.

Minions though has done really well. I never thought that would have turned out to be that successful.
