Chiller electro like Kaskade or Rone. If anyone has something to recommend in the same vein, I'll gladly take it :)

For some electro, bordering on french electro, try out Cinnamon Chasers, for example the tracks You or Light Chaser.

Romy and by extension the XX and Jamie XX have some electronic music with more vocal focus.

A love a dj named amon tobin. It gets a little abstract, but very cinematic and unique. I think you might enjoy him.

I’ve been on an extended run of listening to Russian Circles. Instrumental post-rock that’s more metal. Just amazing.

Hell yeah, Russian Circles is super rad! The band their bassist was in before, Botch, is also a classic for sure. Highly recommended if you've never checked it out.

I really love Russian Circles, and have seen them live a couple of times now. They're great live! I hope I get to see Botch live soon 🙂

Been listening to Hikaru Utada. Good Night is the soundtrack of animation master piece Penguin Highway. One last kiss is a great pop banger.

I have been listening to nightcore versions of Skillet and Starset, some of these edits can really hit the sweet spot for my ears.

I dont understand a lot of it as it is mostly Ukraninan but there is some English language songs. The energy though goes across boundaries

Been listening to a ton of Jazz this week. Bitches Brew, A Love Supreme, and The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady are some of my favorite jazz albums of all time. Aside from that, I have been revisiting some music from my youth. Stuff like mewithoutYou, the Chariot, and that first Norma Jean record, it's good to revisit some of that more rowdy stuff from time to time haha. Deftones made it on to my list, I am working on a cover of their cover of the song Simple Man, hah. So I have had that one on repeat for a few days.

Jimmy Buffet just recently passed away. I’ll be going through his albums this week. I always liked Son of a Son of a Sailor, but would love to hear any advice on deep cuts

My wife and some friends of mine went to see Jinjer, Breaking Benjamin, and Disturbed last night. It was an utter blast ans reminded me why I love live music.

I can't stop listening to the Baldur's Gate 3 soundtrack. I haven't played the game, and I don't think I will, but my god this soundtrack is glorious.

Portishead is my jam! Their album Dummy has been in my rotation for decades, but really all of their stuff is pretty great. It's a vibe for sure, and one that has, imo, never quite been immitated.
