Make a statement about yourself, run it through Google translate 1 or more times and translate back into English. Post the final result.
Example:
I enjoy eating a bowl of cereal after everybody goes to sleep.
(English to Albanian. Albanian to Chinese. Chinese to English.)
“After all, I like to eat a bowl of cereal after going to sleep”
(I stole this from /r/threadgames, by the way. Apologies for my lack of creativity.)
Why do I see you on every single thread haha.
Because @Kat 's cool af.
I can relate to that, enjoy your stay.
I'd love to visit outer space one day.
(English to Japanese to Spanish to Hebrew to Czech to Zulu to Scots Gaelic to English.)
I want to visit the day for one day.
Just one day... one day to visit the day, that's all it takes :'(
I'm afraid of the dark, but only when I'm in bed or a basement.
english-->chinese-->spanish-->esperanto-->yoruba-->pashto-->frisian-->filipino-->igbo-->korean-->basque-->portuguese-->icelandic-->english
I was afraid of the stars, only when I was on my bed or in my mouth.
I wonder how and where "a basement" turned into "my mouth."
English -> Ukrainian -> Kurdish -> Slovak -> German -> English
That.. that's kind of the opposite of what I started with.
Shorter and more precise in its error:
English -> Romanian -> English
In a similar vein,
English -> Arabic -> Chinese -> Turkish -> Czech -> English
Colourless green Google dreams self-referentially.
Mine weren't that fun.
I believe in me and I believe in you.
(English -> French -> Japanese -> Urdu -> English)
I trust myself, I believe in you.
I like technology, but I love what technology can do for people.
(English -> Spanish -> Slovak -> Filipino -> English)
I like technology, but I love this technology for people.
I find if a sentence has really strange/unique syntax, it gets messed up a lot.
Every morning I tell myself that even if nobody else does, at least my mom still loves me.
(English to Afrikaans to Haitian Creole to Polish to Hmong to Pashto to Korean to Myanmar to English.)
Every day, I am a mother even tell yourself that you love him.
See, now it doesn't even really make sense.
I kind of like the phrasing of the first statement better after translation. Granted I guess it changes its meaning somewhat.
Well, this is curious (and yes, I have a couple of related language groups in there).
Every discipline has its own unique jargon.
(English to Khmer to Swahili to Gujurati to Lao to English)
All scientists have their own language.
(Back through Persian to Basque to Scots Gaelic to English)
Scientists have their own language.
English -> Arabic -> Welsh -> Persian -> Hawaiian -> English
close enough?
Basically the same thing.
I like memes
English > Chinese (Simplified) > Afrikaans > Uzbek > English
I am happy
My go-to bio:
Cycled through every language up to Greek:
i feel haunted
It really does, I think I'll use it... somehow.
I am a jellical cat with a curious mind.
English -> Hawai'ian -> Haitian Creole -> Finnish -> English
I am a flower and green to name a few.
'I love my pizza with lots of olive oil and garlic.'
'I love my pizza with lots of olive oil and grammar.'
I am actually surprised at how close it stayed.
Now I'm just picturing a pizza but all the toppings are Gmod "ERROR" missing texture things for some reason.
"...The effect of which is like having your brains smashed out with a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick."
English -> Haitian Creole -> Scottish Gaelic -> Xhosa -> English
"...The amount of brain inflammation and the part of the almonds around the golden trout."
I'm not even gonna give my original, cuz I almost want people to guess, but I got "I play a super gay game." translating from English -> Arabic -> Japanese -> German -> English.
It's not that far off from the original but it's also completely missing part of it. I have played Ladykiller In A Bind, which is pretty gay, so it's not exactly wrong, but...
Pretty close. “I play games and am super gay” - part of my twitter bio (I used to list a bunch of other things, including “get anxious about politics”, but I had to shorten it to fit other links).
I spend too much time in my own head.
English -> Bulgarian -> Corsican -> Dutch -> Estonian -> English
I promised too much time!
English->French->Afrikaans->Albanian->Finnish->English
Well... that was boring.
Extend your arms, legs and life expectancy. Also, Richard of York made battle in vain.
English - Afrikaans - isiXhosa - French - Chinese traditional - Scottish Gaelic - Hawaiian - Yiddish - English
Design your hands, feet, and animals. Richard Van York did not find anything.
