How can a post be reported or a moderator contacted?

I seem to remember there used to be a way to do those things.

Maybe I don't have enough caffeine in myself yet, but I am not seeing any links.

Thank You.

Deimos is also the only person who can delete topics. There is no quick way to report or label topics, so you would have to message Deimos directly.

However, some users (cfabbro, mycketforvirrad, kfwyre I think, and myself) have the abilities to edit the links and titles of topics, and to move them to different groups. This means that any of us could, if necessary, bury a topic in ~test where 99% of the site won't see it. I have done this before and would be happy to do it again.

So, if you find a topic on Tildes that you think needs immediate attention because it's so obviously malicious, spammy, or otherwise doesn't belong, you can always message us (one of the users I mentioned earlier or myself) about it and we will review the topic and possibly "quarantine" it until Deimos can take a look himself.

Private message to The Almighty One? That's what the Malice button does for comments too AFAIK

I personally would be in favour of having the @TheAlmightyOne redirect to Deimos.

Weird take, but I feel like not having a report button is a good thing, as it helps create a sense that the community helps moderate to an extent. Of course, there are situations where mod removal is necessary. I would be curious on why Deimos has not included that feature, since at this point it has been brought up enough that I would assume it is intentionally left out.

Maybe its just because the malice label is already close enough to a report button that there's little need for a separate way to report?
