This show caught me off guard, and I want that again. Being just as bewildered as the innies feels like it's the point.

There is admittedly one pretty big "whaaa?" moment right at the end, but for me at least, even that one raised more questions than provided answers. Otherwise, it was mostly just vibes and recapping some of the important pieces from season 1. I really hate overly detailed trailers that spoil most of what you're about to watch, but this def didn't feel like one of those.
On a rewatch, I think there are actually some pretty big spoilers, just in interstitial shots. Going in completely cold seems like it would be a different experience.

I suspect that the plot point spoiled towards the end of the trailer is from the first episode, so I’m not too bothered. But I’m definitely not going to rewatch the trailer to look for anything else.

Fair enough! Might have to rewatch later & pay closer attention to the details - it's very like a show like Severance to hide things in plain sight there, after all :)

I don't know if I can say I liked S1. I was kinda watching it to see how it worked out rather than actually enjoying anything, it's weird. Don't know if I will start S2. If I do start, I'll see it...

I really don't want to have to rewatch something to be able to understand its follow-up season. I hope they get more serious from this point on and that, if there is another season, that it's not more than a year after this upcoming second one.

I dunno about half an episode, I think I'd want a full synopsis episode. I bet there's an S1 analysis or recap video on YouTube somewhere. Like a Vaati lore video or something.
Yeah, three years is just too long between seasons for a continuing story. I’m in my 60s, and I remember half-seriously wondering if I would live to see the ending of Better Call Saul. Another...

Another problem with long delays is that the people involved have careers to consider. Apparently Disney has approved it, and everyone involved with The Orville wants to do another season, but it’s been so long that they all have other commitments.
i’m in the same camp. i’m going to watch a recap and maybe the last half of the last episode. i can’t remember if there was a ‘previously on…’, but if there is, i’ll watch those. the break is far...

the break is far too long. hopefully Apple learns from Slow Horses that people don’t want to wait years.
It's a show that I absolutely loved, but it's definitely not a show for everyone. I'd say the most accurate description is it makes you feel "uncomfortable" the entire watch. I'm super excited for...

I felt the same way, you are not alone! It feels like one of those shows that broadly gets a lot of praise, but then I'm watching it and it just doesn't click for me. If I watch it, it's probably...

If I watch it, it's probably not going to be until the whole thing is out so that I can just binge it.
Absolutely loved season 1, cannot wait for this! Also, the "Return to office....for season 2" was great giving the current client of companies requiring RTO mandates

I have absolutely no interest in seeing this trailer. I hope it looks good.
But, I am absolutely looking forward to watching the new season.

Season 2 starts Jan 17. 2025, that's all I know and all I need to know.
Thank you kind stranger, that's the single piece of information I wanted and here it is without spoilers or addendums.

Ah, so the Lost style of writing. I know it all too well.
I feel like this should be on TV tropes! What a great turn of phrase
What a weird and wonderful show, I'm glad it's getting a second season.

your innie loves the show.

Very excited for what comes next. I will try to avoid watching anything more until Jan 17th
