Vagabond - finally caught up (finished) the manga. Amazing story line, character development, and artwork. One of the best I’ve read in a while. Especially if you have an interest in Feudal Japan.

Pegula’s response sounds like a typical response by his PR/Legal team. While I don’t doubt this is true, I hope Trotter actually has hard evidence otherwise this lawsuit is going nowhere.

I know people are upset and they’re going “back to pirating” and this is going to cause a “lot of people to flee Netflix.” I get that this pissed a lot of people off but first and foremost, corporations are not your friends and they can pivot however they want. This was purely a business decision for Netflix and it was an accurate read on their market.

I know this is not a popular opinion but just want to throw it out there.

This is probably an intentional decision by Meta to close off new signups and prioritize existing Meta users. They’ll probably open it up once signs ups are stabilized.

This. If OP doesn’t like it, it’s fine, just move on to the next game. There’s no need for others to convince OP why they should like the game.

Interesting to see Instagram jumping in and picking up the people fleeing Twitter. A little surprised that they’re spinning off a new app but we’ll see how successful it becomes. The biggest obstacle to Mastodon was rebuilding the social network that took decades to build in Twitter. But because there is probably a high percentage of users that have both Twitter and IG accounts, it means that if you follow someone in both Twitter and IG, and you log into Threads using the IG handle, you can maintain that social circle. That’s a big benefit for Meta.

Will definitely be interested to see the rate of adoption.

Hands down, this was probably one of the best handheld systems ever. Not only was it perfectly sized and it had such a huge catalog of games, the DS made it so easy to meet up with friends and quickly connect to play Tetris, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, etc. Such an amazing little system. Also, the battery lasts forever.

The point was just to communicate the time zone. 99% of the people who saw the time are not confused. No one is thinking that they’re going to have to until November to watch the news conference.
