Started supporting us in 07. Did the sight of Fernando Torres looking like the coolest man to a 10 year old kid play a part? Yes. I still even have blonde highlights! Was I also the saddest 14 year old when he left? Yes.
Love the club to bits and the people and city of Liverpool. Not to delve too heavily into it, but it makes me even prouder to support a club that holds my political views and stances. The people of Liverpool are good folk.

In terms of what I’ve been listening to and with some quick thoughts of my own, the last one I listened to was MISAMO (Mina, Sana, and Momo). I think marshmallow and bouquet just sound so pretty and they all complement each other so well.
IT’z ME by Itzy. Never listened to Itzy so didn’t know what to expect, but since I love the song WANNABE I thought I’d give it a go. Not a bad album and will give it another listen!
Born Pink by Blackpink. Took me a while to like it but the more I listen to it the more I like it! I love the song Tally which was the first Blackpink song I loved from the get go.
TWICE’s Hare Hare mini album is really fun! Both Hare Hare and Catch a wave are really fun songs.
Have you got any albums I should give a listen? The only reason I ask as I’ve only really started listening to K-POP the last month or so since I’ve got Spotify. Since you can go on the artist’s profile you get a gist of what they’re like it’s how I started listening to Itzy!

Think Journey but under water (I believe it is the same artist). It has the amazing Austin Wintory that composed the music. Just like in journey, he finds a great way to make music sound grand but fit the mood the player is in and the scenario the devs are trying to put across.
The art style has a lovely charm to it and makes exploring the levels really beautiful and charming.

My first introduction was a TV show. I believe it was called Sonic x? 5 year old me thought it was cool as anything. A few years later I get a Sonic game on the ps2 that was a collection of all the classic sonic games: pinball, dodgy handheld ports, the originals, sonic and knuckles. Thought it was absolutely awesome!
Funily enough, and I’m being serious, my better memory of sonic is the Xbox 360 version of sonic. The really broken one. I just found it really enjoyable for some reason - even if, objectively, it really is a thrown together mess.

I’m not seeing comments of just ‘this’ ‘lol’ ‘came here to say this’ Not to mention there seems to be a nice ‘everyone that says something is valued’ vibe.
How does Tildes plan to manage when the site inventively gets bigger and deal with moderation - especially when some topics will get bigger than others and be a bit ‘noisier’? As far as my knowledge goes, only the admin and 2 others(?) moderate. I should say, at least from my experience the moderation is going great! However, I can’t help but think of it in the back of my mind.

I will hold my hands up and admit it, but on Reddit, if I spend my time on low effort subs, I will leak that same behaviour onto other subs. Subreddits like r/askhistorians that behaviour wouldn’t fly and it’s a reason why it sets a very high bar in what discussions can be.
I would personally be in the camp of having it all high effort. I don’t think we are expecting academic English, sources, and what not. But thoughtful replies (which I hope this comment comes across) should be the norm. If people want fun communities then Reddit will always exist.
It has definitely made my experience thoroughly enjoyable to be part of as I know that the people reading my comment, topic, will likely reply in a similar fashion.

Not to mention part of my cut is, not only to see those abs, but I seriously want to start doing more pull-ups as I couldn’t do more than one on my bulk due to my body fat.
Absolute pain in this heat but it does sure feel good once you’ve done it. I’m only doing 20 minutes to start off slow but it does get addicting once you’ve gone a few days in a row - not to mention that awesome feeling after. Rowing machine seems to be a favourite at the moment but I’ll probably go on the stationary bikes when I get bored of this!

I’ve finished my 1st year at law school and I’m just going through my books re reading them since I find them so interesting. Why? I’m not sure if there is a word for ‘something we find interesting but can’t explain why’ I suppose in some way it surrounds us in our day to day lives and the thought process about how these laws came to be. Also there is something great about reading them and ‘seeing errors’ in the law only for the book to later bring this up as academic criticism of a given area.

There was a charm where content was aimed at small groups and made for fun. Take the ‘ultimate showdown’ video and song. I first saw that in 2006. That’s quite a lot of work for something quite niche.

FF1 - very minimalist but has a lovely charm. Very simple game and can be completed relatively quickly. Like most first games in the franchise, Assassins Creed being a perfect example, it is just testing the waters with what players like and to set some foundations on what they can build upon. Pretty forgettable but this can be forgiven when you think of when it came out and technical limitations.
FF2 - for some reason, iirc, the Reddit final fantasy community voted this as their most disliked one (I have made this claim but I can’t back it up) maybe I’m mis remembering it but I did seem to pick up that is wasn’t so loved - I think the XP system maybe? Personally I really liked it. Again, it’s in its teething phase and is now trying to add a bit more story and see where it goes. I like how if you want to improve your health/defence you can just attack your party. If you want to improve your magic then just cast magic. There’s nothing stopping you from making everyone DPSs/Healers/Tanks - a very flexible play style!
FF3 - really fun! Think the story was a bit over the place but the levelling was fun and a very enjoyable experience. Did feel I had to grind a lot more but that may be because I just stuck with the ‘wrong’ jobs for most of the game. I can imagine the instruction manual in the original game would have detailed jobs to inform players.
FF4 - just picked it up (4 hours or so in) and loving it. The first game that really centralises us around a character and not the ‘4 brave warriors trope’. It gives me a reason to care about this person: they have a name, personality, morals, background, family and it’s really cool.
I’m fortunate to be playing these for the first time on the pixel remaster on Steam and think they all look absolutely beautiful. Im not sure how much they differ completely from the originals mechanically etc but it’s certainly an enjoyable experience!

There was a gamesworkshop that opened up in my town and walking past I saw all these cool mini figures. I knew 40k had a deep lore and was quite intimidated but I had the most wonderful chat with the gentleman on the counter and all the people waving to me and introducing themselves as they were playing and painting.
Sadly law school is getting in the way but your comment has reminded me to go back at a convenience and finish off my Aeldari! I’m sure they’ll be happy to see me again.
