I bought a cheap LG UW Freesync monitor a few years back. Didn't realize it at the time but Freesync on Nvidia cards only works with Display port. The monitor I got only has HDMI so I've yet to try things out. Once I upgrade my 2060 I'll get a new monitor.

On the other hand I hauled my CRT monitor out and hooked it up and the motion clarity on that can be amazing. It'll be interesting to see if gsync/Freesync can match it.

Stuff like this is why I hardly eat pork any more. If I do buy some I try to source from somewhere that has some source of welfare indication. This can often be quite expensive and for pork in particular for some reason it is hard to find with welfare labels compared to chicken and beef.

The only critique I have is this feels like something you'd do in a later season. Some compared it to Once More With Feeling which I think was from the 6rh season of Buffy?

I need more singing Klingons however. I hope someone does a fanmade stage musical of Star Trek because that would be amazing.

Santiagos - Get a half and half breakfast burrito. Various locations around town.

Take the G line from Union station to Old Town Arvada. It's a walkable area with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops.

Their popular posts section and recommended articles at the end of other articles always keep me reading. The comments section usually isn't cancer.

As someone who hasn't had a positive theater experience in many years and doesn't go to the theater any more, I don't really see one format being superior to the other. My experiences in theaters are largely negative and it started in the early digital 3D era. I would try to watch films in 2D and the projector was really dark maybe because they weren't swapping equipment out between 2D and 3D. Also many times the sound is unbearably loud. So in the end I think from a viewer perspective I couldn't care less what format they shoot in because it ultimately comes down to how much skill and care the theater staff has in presenting the film. The reasons that ultimately drove me away from going to theater were all around the various local theater's inability to show a film without technical difficulties.

This pulls primarily scanned magazines and comics from my server. I use a 3rd party app for touch screen page turns with yacreader.

I find its a huge time saver in respect to having to learn things from the ground up. I can usually knock something out in an hour through trial and error if I have a rudimentary grasp of things.

I really enjoy automotive wikis. I love reading about different models of cars, their specs, what trim levels were offered and the differences there, and what changed year to year. I wish someone would make an encyclopedia on different model cars. Like The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Encyclopedia and it would detail every model year, trim levels, what changes there were in different countries, etc.

To that end I wish I could contribute more info especially photos for the different car model years to Wikipedia but all photos have to be creative commons, you can't just post any photo you find on the net. That being said when I go to car shows I try to make sure to upload all the photos I take to the wikimedia commons.

I keep wondering why some rich person or org doesn't just buy a large plot of land and copy paste a suburban/urban area from Europe over here and see how it goes.

I really like this idea of guerilla activism for bike infrastructure. Most cities are moving at a snail's pace and we are many years behind. I do feel like this could easily backfire and result in crackdowns though. It would be nice if there was some sort of semi-centralized source detailing the most efficient and useful methods of operating and construction so other towns could have some sort of reference.

I was in middle school (early/mid90s)and my friend lent a recording of Akira from the Scifi channel on vhs as well. I must have watched it well over 20 times by the time I gave it back. I couldn't get enough. I then made sure to catch whatever was airing on the scifi channel on the weekends. Those old promos they had, the old catalogs, and a local comic store called Tate's which had a large collection of anime related stuff made up my early days. Everything seemed so exotic and new back then. Dragon Ball Z on tv was huge as well but I think that was a bit later on.
