I'll say, it looks like the most ordinary release I think I've seen. I can't help but see something like Splinter Cell Conviction with more color. I'm mildly interested but am going to wait until its on sale.

A song built on the anxiety of a burgeoning internet, the floodgates of reaction images "my malaise don't fit in the animated gif, I have feelings that can't be expressed with kittens." Anyway, you get to hear some of the speech of fifty million merits and also get a little pop banger to chew on, if anyone is interested.
He calls it his pop album, but it's indie for all intents and purposes

Saying "we should do something" and then quietly doing something else is pretty normal for people or companies in power, anyway.
It seems to me like it's an oligarchical smokescreen above anything. Bezos might say "end world hunger" or like he recently said, "poorer people just shouldn't pay taxes" while he doesn't pay any as the richest man โ the trueness or falseness of a claim should be met with judgement, like most things. But greed is huge, so predicting the kinds of chaos that they can pay for is difficult
Edit: This comment didn't contribute at all, I'm just alone with the same thoughts. How can I start to dictate my unfeelings on the nature of man, and the state of the world?

I am fine with it too, because I loved supernatural, but I'm also fine with people hating it because it was kind of embarrassing.
I honestly wanted homelander to become a bagboy or something, and then gets hit by a car or something that would've put him in someone else's shoes.
But if the thru line is that Homelander is like an unfettered Trump, then the design was to get our dictator to debase himself on camera which is supposed to be what we're to take away as the solution to these dictators? Having them grovel?
Maybe. But all I am saying is we could've taken this fight to space or at least through a couple of mountains before ending up in the white house playing WWE.

But as someone on this site told me once, "it's better to let them go a day too early than a day too late." You did the hardest thing, but it was still important.
I'm sorry for your loss friend; carrying that grief just means you loved fiercely and the memories are evidence of that.

Just an absolute blast. So easily I am pulled into the game design. I need darkness to unlock more death defiance -- ooh! But I need gems to unlock certain floors that would really help me -- ooh, but if I complete the ancient scroll for this equipment I get 4 diamonds, which I can use for this NPCs storylin--
I really enjoy the feeling of "okay this run is just going to be for gems" or "this boon combo feels unfuckingstoppable, this is going to be the run."
I finally got to the final boss and lost in the 2nd phase but I am determined to get back there.

AA is what I really need - alcohol indeed ran my household and my parents growing up, so Al-Anon has been helpful to unpack some of that. But I still feel scared to go to my first AA meeting because I'm still on the shore of being able truly admit my problem. But! I admit this is a process I've been working at for years. I'm on the shore now, but I was in the jungle a couple years ago. Progress is progress.
I hope you make it to the DW meeting sometime, friend - the folks at my meeting immediately welcomed me as one of their own. They gracefully let me get closer to "the feeling" - the feeling that community is what makes things worth it, and that none of this has to be taken on alone.

I also think it was intentionally forecasted like that to lead up to Mark's answer - the tension that builds as we, the viewer, think the viltrimites are already blending in - suggests that it doesn't matter what Mark says, his back is against the wall. I think it cleverly underscores how Thragg ambushes Mark with this ultimatum "you have no choices to make, but yet you still must make one." It kind of forces mark to give permission anyway, and so the viltrimites being on the planet already or just being a fearful, PTSD image is kind of irrelevant - the answer will have to be the same, anyway.
It seems like Cecil and everyone else requires ship scanning in order to know who is entering the solar system. It could be Cecil doesn't know about Thragg and Co. because they all possibly flew in without a vessel. I could be wrong though.
Still excited!

I have not read the comics. But I read someone said we are about halfway through the comic run.
I feel like this will lead to incredibly difficult tensions when children start being born half viltrimite. Raised half human, they will likely have their own moral quandaries with parent authoritarianism vs. human desire to rebel, favor altruism, and seek justice.
If time will be a huge factor moving forward, there's no telling how these last 37 viltrimites reevaluate their desires for conquest (no pun intended).
Can't wait for Thragg to battle Satan

Radarr- manages all movies I'm interested in
-
Sonarr - same but for TV shows
--> both send indexers out, return with a torrent file that gets sent to: -
Qbittorrent
--> downloads the torrent file to my system. Once it finishes...
Radarr/Sonarr know where I want the files to be placed, cause I have a TV folder and a Movies folder and I tell it where to sort them. It uses hardlinks and removes the file from its download folder when it's finished and from Qbittorrent when it's finished seeding.
With everything in its place...
- Plex
--> is my new forever front end for media.
It constantly scans my TV/movie folders when they update and immediately presents them to be watched, with options for CC, playlisting, episode and movie info--pretty much anything you might wanna know for the episode.
I have a lifetime pass purchased to have access from outside my home network (data, friends Wi-Fi's, etc). I waited until the holidays when it was 40% off
One day I will get a raspberry pi or something to host my media server without needing my PC to stay running, but it's pretty cool, and I've enjoyed learning how it works.
Radarr and Sonarr track new releases. You can configure it to watch for certain qualities or file sizes. You can set it up to automatically watch for new releases or you can make it one-press to scan for the shows and movies you're monitoring and it will search for the parameters, refer the torrent file to qbit, qbit will download it, and together they will put the file in its own file folder where it needs to go.
It's so simple now, I'll boot up Plex on my ps5 and the new episode of The Boys will be available, and it all automated from me clicking "scan" once earlier in the week.

31, punk, metal, psych rock fan. Never listened to talking heads much except for whenever "burning down the house" came on the radio and turned me off of them.
But this album feels like it was made for me. It has the right amount of weirdness, the right amount of esoteric insight, the right amount of riff droning that necessitates a head bob and a critical ear to hear the sporadic hits and unique charms.
The album makes me feel I'm meeting a stranger at the pub and they show me the underbelly of the city and I learn something about myself.

I skipped Indigo Child and Antimai just because "I had other stuff" going onโmainly listening to stuff like Frankie and the Witch Fingers and King Gizzโ
But it informs the reason why my brain is struggling to latch on to any motifs. I don't think I'm a prog music novice by any means but without doing the homework on TDH's latest evolutions, many of these chord changes and melodies feel like they're happening a bit too adventurously.
Which is something I love about the dear hunter - sometimes just following a thread in a progressively complicated song like Take More Than You Need is one amazing ride, but when the art is being served across an album like it's a Renaissance painting, it really helps to know the influence behind the brush strokes.
All to say, I commit to listening to all of their latest stuff! ๐

A game like God of War 2018 and Ragnarok had just enough appeal to me to want to 100%. I normally never had a penchant for difficulties to surmount, but when you find a game you like and you're good at--it becomes almost the reason for playing the game and I like that.
2018 and Ragnarok had some exploration that I found a little frustrating to reach, but it was the promise of a good fight and the promise that every fight would funnel me towards the right upgrade and skill development to take on the Valkyries in 2018 or the Berserkers in Ragnarok, that made each achievement or unlock worth it.
Interestingly on games like Ghost of Tsushima or Horizon Zero Dawn, there's just too much to explore for me to get every bit. The lore is interesting, but it's not enough for me to push my joystick to every single square foot.
