I did look it up though and they basically said that it uses one by default as heuristically searching also gives your browser a more identifiable fingerprint (although it's already identifiable if you're using a whole cocktail of addons.
You can however go to the settings page, and make the decision continue using the heuristic method. This is also more likely to pick up new stuff before the blocklist catches it. Ofc it'll eventually be added to the blocklist anyway, so it's just down to personal preference.

One additional benefit, is that it uses heuristics instead of a blocklist to detect trackers, so this makes it more adaptable to an every growing web.

I have friends who have some of the more expensive collector lights (high end hank lights, noctigons, etc), and tbh I haven't felt the need to upgrade. The convoy lights are tough enough and thanks to the new LEDs every few years, I stay up to date with LED tech advancements for only a couple bucks.

I have a Convoy S2+ that I've had for 7 years and has gone through 2 drivers (FET+1, Moonlight Special), multiple different firmwares, 4 LEDs (219b, 219c , LH351, 519a) and two springs (mostly as upgrades). I also recently got a Convoy H1 and it's amazing.
I love high CRI LEDs with good current use and tints :)

However, you still need to be careful to install the clip for the programmer in the correct orientation.
Some laptops also let you install coreboot as a bios update, which makes it pretty easy.

I just finished reading Ann Leckie's Ancillary trillogy. I really enjoyed this space opera. Somehow though, I ended up reading the third book first, and then one, two and three again. In the end I forgot enough of the third book that it was still fun.
I just started And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie today, so we'll see how that goes. :D
