Hoped I'd be interested in Animal Crossing but watching on Twitch I don't think I'd be able to play in long term... I guess I was hoping for more like Stardew Valley, but was misinformed.
Been saving a surprising amount of money being stuck home 24/7 and still working in a fairly essential field, so I've put together a new PC build to buy once the world becomes a more normal place.

cain Link ParentI had the same problem with disabling alarms and going right back to sleep for years, it wasn't until I bought a super cheap alarm clock and placed it in a spot in the room that I have to get out...I had the same problem with disabling alarms and going right back to sleep for years, it wasn't until I bought a super cheap alarm clock and placed it in a spot in the room that I have to get out of bed to turn the alarm off that I finally started consistently getting up for my alarms, can't think of a single time I've turned it off and got back into bed after the alarm since i got it. Obviously might not fit your needs but for that specific problem I'd suggest a separate alarm clock.

This year I was pretty severely depressed as I was between jobs until May after moving across the country in January and short on money and had...2018 was quite possibly the worst year of my life.. This year I was pretty severely depressed as I was between jobs until May after moving across the country in January and short on money and had to rack up a substantial amount of credit card debt, and just when I finally got into a good rhythm with my new job and was getting back on track my wife left me mid October... that was a long time coming and it's a fairly clean split, but still sucked and was a wake up call.
Since then I've decided to turn my life around, spend a lot less time online as is apparent in my tildes/reddit posting habits, trying to get out more in my new city and just trying to do something each day to make me feel like I'm heading in the right direction.
I'll have a new apartment in about a month which is really needed as I'm currently in a half empty 2 bedroom and it's depressing, job is going really well. I don't weigh myself but I've tightened my belt 4 notches since my wife left and look and feel better than I have in years. I'm only 26 so I'll spend a good bit of 2019 dating probably as I definitely feel like I'm in the right state of mind to put myself back out there. For the most part I've just been eating better and walking a lot around work but soon I'm going to head back to the gym and do some real work. I got a state park pass for 2019 that I intend to use the hell out of when the weather gets a bit nicer. Overall my plan for self growth in 2019 is to just keep it one day at a time, not putting things off as much as I have been!

Not surprising coming from Baraboo or any other Wisconsin highschool outside of Madison/Milwaukee/Green Bay metro areas, honestly the most of the people there have maybe one or two minorities in their school class and god knows what their parents teach them. Rural Wisconsin might as well be the old south... I live in South Carolina now and have seen less racism here, which surprised me.

I downloaded HS yesterday as I got the itch to play some card games and it seems like a good place to start. I've been following newbie guides I found on /r/hearthstone and have just unlocked all heros and played one play now (and won very surprisingly)
Just curious if people have some advice about starting out/playing or what 'path' to take. I tend to stick to as much solo content as possible in card games before I jump into the PVP side and have a sort of policy of not spending money on games like this before I put in a significant amount of hours and don't get burnt out.
All of this because I've been watching a ton of Magic: Arena on twitch lately as my favorite streamer has gotten addicted (richard_hammer btw)... and figured magic might be a bit overwhelming.

cain LinkJust earlier today I searched for gizmodo.com to see if domain search worked and had no luck so I'd say domain results for sure should be included, I use domain results to see if a source I have...As a specific example, if you search for "youtube.com" or even "youtube", should all link topics from YouTube come up, or only topics that have the word "youtube" somewhere in their title/text/tags?
Just earlier today I searched for gizmodo.com to see if domain search worked and had no luck so I'd say domain results for sure should be included, I use domain results to see if a source I have is a source that others have submitted as sort of a go/no-go for if I will submit from that domain.

The only CoD I've gotten significant playtime in since CoD MW3 was Black Ops 3 so I'm hoping...I haven't picked it up yet, usually wait a few weeks for CoD to iron things out before I jump on it.
The only CoD I've gotten significant playtime in since CoD MW3 was Black Ops 3 so I'm hoping this one is right there with it when it comes to online play. I loved Blops 3 and got to like 5th prestige I think and only stoped because work got crazy for me at the time. I just loved the mechanics in BO3 with the sliding and jetpacks and wall running it was a blast and the camo and skins are always fun to grind for me.
I've never been a huge BR fan so I'm not really all that interested in Blackout but I think its the PUBG killer for sure at least in North America from what I've seen.
Zombies I've been watching admiralbahroo do the easter egg hunt and it looks great but once again not for me. I've been a CoD player for a while so I'm mostly just interested in the deathmatch type stuff here. Bugs are present but that's par for the course these days for games on release.
I haven't preordered and won't get one for a while, if at all. But, I think this generation really depends on what you are looking for in a console as both have their pros and cons.
If I were to get one I think it would be an Xbox since I already have Xbox gamepass for PC and that service is one of the most worthwhile prescription services I've ever seen and only getting better by the day it seems. So the Xbox as a gamepass machine would be a great budget option for anyone. While I see the PS5 having better exclusives like they have for the most part on the PS4.
As far as you questions...
I'd go digital over disc, don't think I bought anything not digital since the PS3
PC gaming should benefit as always from a new console generation, the better consoles get the better games get developed for console as well as PC
