I’m not sure how a constitution would help decide the 50/50 split in votes you describe. Many countries also don’t have a formal constitution, so it isn’t a necessary thing to have to be successful - the UK for example doesn’t have anything codified.

Must admit I haven’t watched much of the Vuelta/Giro before. What are the main differences in their coverage in terms of the licensing?

Plus good highlights on GCN+ if you don’t fancy watching hours of the stage! They give a good summary of the main events and team tactics from the day.

Just like when his changes made 2FA stop working, he hasn’t demonstrated an ability to see the unintended consequences of his actions.

The issue with car seats is more knowing the history of them - if you’re buying off a friend who you know hasn’t been involved in a car crash that’s fine. But if you buy off a stranger from an online auction site, how can you be sure it hasn’t been in a crash/dropped/mishandled in a way that affects the safety of your child?

A frustrating couple of weeks for me - last week I felt generally fatigued (had a lighter week planned anyway) but was better towards the end of that week so went for a bike ride. Must have tweaked my back somehow during that so this week have been limited again by a bad back so have just been doing a bit of walking! Planning to run tomorrow, but currently a bit of a heatwave in the UK so will see how I’m doing at the end of a hot work day.

A rare look behind the closed borders of North Korea and into the effects of the Kim dynasty's approach since 2020.
Some quotes from the article which really hit home:

"I can’t sleep when I think about my children, having to live forever in this hopeless hell"

“With no supplies coming from the border, people do not know how to make a living.” Recently she has heard of people killing themselves at home, while others disappear into the mountains to die

But Ji Yeon hopes for something simpler. She wants to live in a society where people don’t starve, where her neighbours are alive, and where they don’t have to spy on each other. And she wants to eat three meals of rice a day.
The last time we heard from her, she did not have enough to feed her child.

It’s very reminiscent of the Mercedes domination era! Back then it was clear Mercedes were hiding a lot of pace - there was one race (I think maybe Bahrain? Not sure which year, maybe 2017) where Hamilton and Rosberg really showed it by putting a huge margin between them and the rest of the field in so few laps.

I don’t think Red Bull have quite that advantage as Pérez isn’t always able to make the same impression. Verstappen is on another level.

I think Pérez will manage to maintain P2, but he need to find his form again as otherwise that is at risk if he keeps making mistakes.
