You know, one thing that reverberated with me is the fragmentation that was inherited with internet foruns. Reddit, Tildes and the likes are all in one solutions. I don’t know if it is better or not, but I think that a small group of people really passionate about one subject might create a more coerse environment than the latter. I think I’m getting old, but I really miss internet foruns.

Hey, if you guys don’t mind, I’d like to highjack this thread to ask one question: why is something like reddit or tildes preferable to a forum bases community?

I just remembered about Varoufaks being hired by Valve. I guess companies are finding some low hanging fruits in hiring economists to optimize processes/price setting and so on.

I was surprised that Amazon has more economists than economics departments of universities. It’s a pitty I was never much into microeconomics.

I am completely against Bolsonaro, and I don’t think here is the place to discuss this kind of thing, but let me just show that there are things that are not as clear as you put (or at least there are some disagreement): I strongly disagree with you on (1). The process that led him to jail was very clean, that are a lot of evidence linking him to the apartment, and different judges in different instances maintained the decision. On the rest I’m with you a hundred percent!

I also wasted so many hours in Sim Copter, but never found it again.

Other than that, the classics. Doom II (I think this is the game I spent most hours in in my life :), Warcraft III, etc...

Thanks! I will remember that... parenting sure is a very demanding task, and burn-out is to be expected. It shouldn't be something to be ashamed of.

I’m expecting my first child, a baby boy, to be born in the next couple of weeks. So these last months were me trying to prepare for such a change, to be there for my wife and to be a better person for my future son. This is a process that never ends, I think.
