ebonGavia I agree 100%. Alien was and still is a masterpiece. Aliens might have more fun action scenes but that doesn't make it a better film. ebonGavia I played some of the other FF games on NES and SNES and loved them to death. I met a far-away relative-in-law at one point in a long-past life and he said, "Actually, FFT is the best". I was,...I played some of the other FF games on NES and SNES and loved them to death. I met a far-away relative-in-law at one point in a long-past life and he said, "Actually, FFT is the best". I was, honestly... Offended, almost? I couldn't imagine that being a correct take.
Of course later I spent hundreds (thousands?) of hours playing it many times, memorizing the battle mechanics guide, loving the story (despite the bad localization the story is incredible, unmatched actually), and min-maxing the fuck out of every single thing in the game.
I was wrong all along, naturally.

ebonGavia I found it fairly painless. I actually started a new playthrough when I got my SD and got the 100% (not recommended btw; the arcade game is bs lol). Let's just say I met a remarkable...I hope this works for some people. There is additional autobiographical context without which I worry it may not make sense, but I don't want to share too much. Let's just say I met a remarkable friend who inspired me to get out of a terribly toxic relationship. A relationship between myself and the friend was not ever in the cards due to a variety of factors. So I knew it was never going anywhere, but it still gave me the confidence and hope I needed to not just quit on life and to get out of that relationship.
