    Hi folks, I hope this is ok to post.

    Flow (also known as 'the zone', and others) is a mental state of profound task-absorption that makes a person feel one with the activity in which they are involved - I'm sure many of you have experienced it.

    I'm on a team of people doing research on flow theory, and we focus on people employed in software development. Our goal is to help make the office a better place for employees, by understanding when and why people enter flow. We prepared a survey for some work- and flow related topics, and it would be of great help if you could take and maybe even share it.

    Yeah, I think what helps me the most when stressed or filled with anxiety is to go for a walk or talk to someone. It gets you out of your own head!

    Incredibly, this growth is largely the result of eXp Realty’s use of an online virtual world similar to Second Life. That means every employee, contractor, and the thousands of agents who work at the company show up to work—team meetings, training seminars, onboarding sessions—all inside a virtual reality campus.

    What an interesting concept. I wonder if this will become the de facto standard in industries where working from home or outside of an typical office space becomes more and more common. I can also imagine that coworking spaces used by entrepreneurs will move to such virtual reality spaces in the future.
