There is no feasible one state solution because that require both sides to create a government that gives equal power and protection, something neither side will agree to. This is a process that started after WWI and the eventually genocide of at least one side, if not both, is the most likely and unfortunate outcome.

By having my real name on this account, it reminds me to be more like the person I want to be and not the one caught up in the doom scrolling rage bait that is often posted on Reddit.

Jewish population of the rough Palestine area was under 5% before WWI. The establishment of the British mandate of Palestine after WWI led to a rise in the Jewish population until it was at 32% of the total population by 1948. The establishment of Israel was basically European colonization of the area starting after WWI. Which was a broken promise to the Arabs living in the area when they helped the Allies fight the Ottomans with the promise of establishing their own independent country.

There has been a lot of economic discontent across the political spectrum in the "fly-over" states and populist messages resonate in these areas. Bernie Sanders was consistently polling much better in key Midwestern swing states like Michigan and Wisconsin that ended up deciding the election. If Democratic primary voters had been paying attention to polls, they would have realized that running Bernie Sanders would most likely have tipped the scales in the Midwest states without hurting their Democratic base in stronghold states. This is a lot of hindsight though and we don't know exactly what a general election would have looked like between Trump and Sanders.
Edit: Fixed a typo.

Many people demonize video game playing but ignore the amount of time people spend on their phones or watching streaming video usually because people have a tendency to downplay the downsides of their own coping mechanisms. There could be unhealthy habits that both of them are participating in that are not addressed in the article. This article is a very small window on their life from one person's perspective.

The Republican party of today is where it is at because the extreme right was able to win enough primaries to transform the party. There will never be a natural fracturing of the two major parties into smaller parties under the current system because the moment one party is split, the other one gains enormous power.

As someone who became a parent relatively young and before I was able to finish school, I sympathize with both of them. The main takeaway people should get from this article is that neither of them are mature enough to be married and be parents. It highlights the fact that the use of contraception should not be stigmatized at all and heavily encouraged.

One of my favorite memories was from a summer I worked at a renaissance faire in the 90's and I was 16 years old. It was a few minutes before the faire was about to open and I had to run back to our office area to get something for my stand. When I walked in one of my friends and our manager were talking. I grabbed what I needed, turned around and my friend out of no where ask me how to spell 'menage a trois". I just rattled it off without a beat and walked out. I can't remember if I ever asked my friend what it was about, but I assume it was probably a discussion about how I wasn't that sweet and innocent.
