Literally the first thing that happened when we entered was the mouse came out carrying some nachos, tripped on a kid, and dumped the nachos all over my wife. We got some free tokens out of that but the place was so crowded, dirty, and generally unpleasant that I never let my kids host a party there. Not to mention what they did to Rock a fire animatronics

Eyes naturally change so it won’t stay perfect forever. Also once you hit middle age you’ll still need reading glasses. I do have some starbursts driving at night but I’m used to it now

Now that I understand a bit of the history I can better understand their hypocrisy

They've renewed Foundation, Invasion, etc. so if a show is half-way decent it will probably get renewed anyway.

Another instance can have the same name, but its a different community? And it's not easy to move that community to another instance. And its the same thing with usernames. And if you want to use another instance, you have to go and create a new user there, so there is no global continuity. And you have Russian, Chinese, and other instances injecting questionable content. It just seems like a good idea, but badly implemented. Yeah I've heard the "it's like email" analogy, but that means it really isn't anything like reddit

Every new piece of information I get about Musk just makes me dislike him more. I feel sympathy for his tough childhood and his autism, etc. but every thing he does now as an adult just shows what an ass he is
