Iced Horchata has been in my hand quite a bit this summer. Can’t get enough foreal.
In Sweden it's Julmust at Christmas/Winter, with its twin beverage Påskmust found on the shelves at Easter/Spring.
Debate rages over whether they masquerade as the same beverage. 😉

Can you trace the etymology of Pask? Any connection to passover? I know Jul is just viking christmas, and German knows the word Most for unfermented raw juice. Just trying to fill the gap here.
Seems to be passover. 👍

I feel like Spring just occupies the space between Winter and Summer, and the drinks match the weather.
Here in the American south it occupies that three day time period between Winter and Summer.
Spring tea and floral teas (cherry, rose etc.) come to mind for spring.
Also nettle tea, rhubarb drinks, fresh mints and other spring plants.
Smoothies have to be what I associate most with summer alongside lemonade and ice tea/coffee
I've got to admit, a sweet rhubarb and mint drink sounds perfect for where I am right now, inside on a hot day with an air conditioner that's probably much cooler than it should be.
Summer: Tepache, fermented pineapple.

Highly recommended with a habanero in the ferment and excellent with a shot of bourbon when served. Yeah, I know it seems like tequilla would be the right choice, but bourbon is excellent in it. And of course it's quite excellent without booze too.
Damn the very idea of seasonality of beverages! You should be able to drink anything any time you want!
Also damn grocery stores for not selling Egg Nog year round! I don't want to make my own! (But maybe also thank you because if it were available year round I would probably be dead.)
You... can? Nobody is saying you can't drink a sweet tea in midwinter. But obviously some things feel better in the heat of summer and some things in the depths of winter. Drink what and when you want, but seasonality is obviously a thing.
Rosé wine, sparkling wines, and medium-bodied white wines like Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, or Pinot Gris for spring.
Lighter, fruity or herbaceous white wines like unoaked Chardonnay (Chablis-style), Chenin Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Vinho Verde, Auxerrois, dry Muscat, Grüner Veltliner for summer.
Lighter red wines like Pinot Noir, Merlot, Blaufrankisch, Valpolicella, and Rhone blends for autumn.
Heavier reds like Cabernet, California Merlot, Shiraz, Zinfandel, Zweigelt, Barbera, Chianti, Malbec, for winter.
It's not canon, just whatever is appropriate for your climate and seasonal foods.
Give me as much mulled wine as I can drink from October to February.
Mulled wine and cider are both pretty good, but tea blended with mulling spices (cloves, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice) is my absolute favorite fall/winter drink. I'm lazy and so tea is just so much easier to make. :P
