Came across it today, and it is a fun little game to play with a neat cute atmosphere and art style. You basically are running around doing a few quests on a tiny little planet. It even works very well on my phone!
A few fun things I noticed. The first is that you see other players running around doing their quests. On the bottom right is a menu to emote to them! You can also change your outfit a bit as well.

The owl shrine is beneath the temple if you head right and a bit straight, where you can see a post with a golden flame (or poo emoji, can't decide) instead of left up the stairs.

This is incredibly cute but I'm really struggling with movement on mobile, I keep running into walls and zooming in and I swear it shouldn't be this difficult. Am I missing a trick or just notably...

Can't comment on the latter bit. But the "trick" is that wherever you put down your finger is the center of a joystick. Basically, the circle you then see under your finger. The further you slide away from that middle point the bigger your movements will be.
So it only requires very subtle movements to let your character walk and change directions.
Yeah that's what I'm doing but the "size" of my movements feels uncontrollable or at least non-intuitively so. I've used similar touchscreen joystick controls before but this feels rough

This is amazing. How does this run so well and look so good? Is it just Unity? Any story of how this came to be? The website just says "we craft interactive real-time experiences" and nothing else.

Pretty sure this isn't unity, unity in the browser has a very distinct way of loading afaik. In fact, it seems to be a custom engine entirely. I have no idea who is actually behind it, other posts...

I have no idea who is actually behind it, other posts on the internet mostly speculate as well. It's all very mysterious :)
Ah, yeah I completely forgot but if you finish all quests you will get credits with those names. Good find on three.js, I think I have come across it before I remember this lovely little demo

I had one or two reply. Most people don't seem to know you can emote. If you look at them for a while you'll also notice it really is other people trying to figure out the game or doing quests.

I found a UFO on top of the mountain
The alien pilot is chilling on the beach down the road behind where you start.
Oh neat, missed that one.
Did you also spot the owl and the fox? :)
The fox was an easy find but I didn't see the owl

Oh I saw the shrine--didn't know it was special! Is there a list somewhere with all of these "easter eggs"?
I think we're just informally creating the list here...
That was cute, OP. Thanks!
This was very chill and charming! Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed it.

I really struggled with the controls too, it's not just you.

I found it easier to play on a laptop using the keyboard.

I found an in-game easter egg that seems to confirm this!

This is amazing and charming! I can't quite tell, are these other messengers others playing at the same time, or NPCs?
