Little late but...anyone interested in fantasy football?
Family league was foiled, so couple of us are just looking for randoms to help fill out a Yahoo league. There was a few members active on here during the season last year so figured there might be some interest.
Was originally thinking of solely a Tildes fantasy football league but don't think there's enough people for that lol
I am doing one at work for the first time ever. I almost never pay attention to football anymore (my team name is Hand Egg Champions). It's mostly a bid to get to know some coworkers outside my own team, so I am using it as an excuse to try and develop my own data analysis tools.
I do think it's probably too late. From what I understand, the draft would pretty much have to be tonight, and I definitely don't have time today. Maybe next year we can organize a tildes one.

Probably a better bet for next year, though.
Being that the first game is tomorrow, how do you think the draft will take place? Just assign random players to each team?
I’d be down to enter. I played once about 15 years ago as part of an office pool and made it to the finals despite zero knowledge of football, so look out!

I'd play next year. I play in a friends league even though I hardly watch football anymore. It's kind of fun to do better than people absolutely immersed.
I'm late to this thread, but given the interest here and the relative popularity of the weekly NFL discussion threads, you (we?) might want to consider a tildes league next season.
Aye for sure! Definitely think we can get a full league next year based off the last minute interest. We got 4 teams for this year, never played in a league this small but it's been fun so far. But should be easy to build on it next year.

Scarecrw and Jpslam both easily won their different matchups against ughnotdr and myself, with the winners both scoring around ~350 points (We doubled the positions to make it more like 8-man, since normal roster sizes would be crazy with only 4) and us around ~300.
We'll see who the winner of winners and the losers of losers are this week, as Scarecrw and Jpslam face each other and I go against ughnotdr 😂
I would also love if there're some ways for those of us who don't play to still spectate and comment on the games.
I liked when the Minecraft recurring threads still have people trying to communicate via the comments instead of in-game chat since we outside could still "eavesdrop" in.
I'll just take this opportunity to mention I've only played FF twice in my life, probably 20 years ago, and I won both seasons. Stopped watching sportsball in general right around then.
Well we can see if we can fit in it! I added Super Flex (So start two QB), an extra flex spot, and a couple extra bench spots since the league will probably be light on members. Set the time for 7PM EST with a 1 minute clock, so should be able to be done by the 8:20pm EST kickoff time
Heads up I'm actually going to be busy during the draft and will set up a bit of queue beforehand, but I'll also just deal with the hand I got from auto lol. I'll check my phone periodically in case there's any issues though, just ping me in the chat.
Put it on Sleeper since someone specified that as a platform, and I do find it to be the best platform as well. And hopefully can actually set this up earlier next year to actually get everyone in
