So, what should our demonym be?
Reddit is obviously populated with redditors, but who is Tildes populated with?
My personal favorite that I've so far come up with is tilders, but I want to hear yall's suggestions.

Had this discussion a few weeks ago: https://tildes.net/~tildes/k9/what_will_tildes_users_be_called
Search functionality is starting to feel like it needs to be a bit higher on the priority list...
It's near the top, just need to figure out where to fit it in with the 20 other things that are also at the top. I really wasn't expecting the site to get this active so quickly.
Just means you did/are doing something right. ;)
I feel like it's a complicated thing to add though. I agree it should be high up on the priority list, but even then it'll probably be a bit before we get a fully functional one.
/u/bkhl suggested "tildeñeros" in that thread, which makes me giggle.
~rs was also very popular, but that autolinks to an "rs" group...
I would say "Tilds" like the OP suggested there, but that's just me.
tildeñeros has my vote
Whoops. Yeah, I think some searching would be nice.
I agree with tilders (pronounced /tɪl.dɚz/) just because it's the most obvious thing. It will probably end up as the standard regardless of what we say here.
EDIT: I think dilts would be fun, but I doubt people can be made to use that.
I like tilders.
As for an ironic anti-demonym, I vote "tildos".
I've seen it spelled as ~ers. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Tildos is pretty funny though.
I don't like using the symbol in the name either.
I'm totally down with just being called Tildes users. I don't think we need a demonym.
I will probably just say "Tillers" but I do like simply "Tilders" (/tɪl.dɚz/). feels official.
I agree with a comment in the original thread that we should keep it simple and discourage the "us" vs "them" sentiment.
So, my vote would go to Tildes users.
some brainstorming:
Comrades
Members
Tildes Users
Internet Weirdos
Neckbeards
Tildekin
Tildeborn
Tildherents
Intildegentsia
Tolders
~s
those people
tildesites
Tillers
sedlits
it's probably going to be end up tilders though, as goofy as that sounds.
Tillies? Tildies? Tiddies?
...wow that went in the wrong direction quickly now didn’t it...
Some ideas:
Tidlers
Tildoes
Tildans
Tilds
Tildesians
To me, "tilders" is the obvious choice.
Edilt
Reverse “tilde” and it becomes a mix between edit ( because one need lots of edits to craft quality responses without preview ;) ) and elite because ... ok I’ll stop there.
Realistically, I think tilders could work.
Maybe I should change the "Edit" button to "Edlit".
Tildesters
Communists :P
T-dazzlers.
Tildudes
Some people might say "I'm not a dude" but to that I say, I'm a dude, he's a dude, she's a dude, cause we're all dudes, hey!
