Lifetime Subscriptions are not mentioned but are available at this time for $300 at https://go.nebula.tv/lifetime
Starting September 1, new subscribers will pay $6 per month for Nebula, or $60 per year. When using a creator code, annual will be discounted 40% to $36 (which comes out to be $3 per month).
This will ONLY impact new subscribers. There are no plans to change pricing for existing subscribers, though if you change or cancel your plan after August you’ll get the new rates.

The web interface is better, yes. Just off the top of my head for example, in the web interface you can filter your library to show only unwatched videos. That feature is missing on mobile.

That said there's a lot of apps out there, and many are cheaper or free, so i'd look into those as well, at least as a starting point.
I have no complaints about the app on iOS, Android or Roku, but there is a Kodi plugin available if that is compatible with your particular ecosystem....

I truly wish I could find content I enjoy on Nebula, but every time I go back and look around, nothing's really changed in terms of anything new that would draw me back to resubscribe. Even when I was subscribed years ago I could only find one or two channels that worked for me. This is probably more of a me problem though. I'm not a fan of Google/Youtube even though I watch so much content there because it's "the" platform and have been hoping to see more things like Nebula pop up and hopefully take off, but all the content I like is trapped inside Youtube and Twitch, so I end up staying on those platforms

A search for the nebula tag on Tildes will show quite a few posts linking both videos released on Nebula and meta content about the platform itself.

I use an rss feed to subscribe to the channels I want to watch and just click the link and watch in browser
What app do you use for the RSS feed?

I redownloaded the app recently and felt it was a bit more responsive and polished than before (on iOS). But generally their software is lacking.

Also, there is the Grayjay app with a plugin for Nebula, available here or in the play store.

I watch the vast majority of Youtube and Nebula on my smart TV. The app on my TV (Tizen-based iirc?) is fine imo -- no worse than YouTube's at least.
Good to know. This would be my preference for how to watch. I have an Android Sony TV so I wonder if similar.

Why is this on tildes?
A fairly large group of Tildes users have Nebula subscriptions, owing to Nebula's high quality of content and general philosophical alignment with Tildes. A search for the nebula tag on Tildes will show quite a few posts linking both videos released on Nebula and meta content about the platform itself.
Huh. Ok. That's news to me. Noted. Thanks for the response.
I took a long hard look. It looks a little like what I'd imagine we'd get if Abed, from Community, had gobs of money funded a streaming network.
Lots of people on Tildes enjoy Nebula content and this news directly affects them.
Knowing a price hike is coming makes the lifetime sub even more enticing too. So thanks for sharing this news!
