Can I change my username and still port over all my topics and "achievements"

I wanna slightly amend my username into a more clever and perfect version. Is it possible through the Tildes admins or would I have to start all over?

    I suppose so but what "achievements" are you talking about? We don't have karma, your votes are not added up, and "Exemplary" labels are only really relevant on the posts they're in.

          A person gets sweaty palms when they're nervous, so referring to having sweaty palms is an indirect way of saying someone is nervous. As @lou pointed out, Tildes doesn't really have...

          As @lou pointed out, Tildes doesn't really have "achievements", such as karma. However, websites like Reddit do have karma. Karma is seen by some as one of the negative features of Reddit, because it encourages behaviour that chases upvotes, rather than behaviour that engages with people.

          When @flowerdance saw you mention "achievements" in the context of Tildes, they got nervous: they thought that somehow Tildes had acquired "achievements" such as karma, thus making Tildes a worse place (in some people's opinion).

      I think I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek about it, which is why I scare-quoted it :) I really don't take internet points all that seriously but sometimes its helpful if I'm really off-base on...

    It's a bit sad to see "triadderall_triangle" go - there's a certain charm in a cleverly applied dreadful pun. But if you're more comfortable in a different skin, go for it.
