Film photography. I only recently got into it and have been pleasantly consumed by it. There's been a massive resurgence of interest in the form, mainly driven by social media like YouTube and Instagram. Old cameras from the 70s and 80s are still plentiful, so getting into it is cheap, but there are ongoing costs you don't get with digital shooting. You have to keep buying film, and you have to develop it, either by sending it to a lab or doing it yourself.

Currently there is a bit of doom and gloom in the community with the rise of film prices that have come with inflation. At this point 35mm camera film is a somewhat niche item. There are some indications though that price increases are just because of increased demand, and that Kodak is ramping up production of film again to meet it. Ideally, film becomes the next vinyl.

It really doesn't affect the story in a meaningful way. Giorno obviously has some idea of who Dio is, based on the picture he keeps in his wallet, but we never see him follow up on that. All of Vento Aureo, at least in the manga, is focused on Giorno's adventures with the gang. Personally, I think Araki created Giorno because it was an interesting premise for a character, even if he never really explored the concept thoroughly with Giorno learning more about his origins. Also, I think he was tired of drawing the same type of dark-haired tall guy that had been the protagonist since part 1. Parts of Giorno's visual design are very similar to Josuke's, but his hair is... interesting. To say the least.

I think I'm probably one of the youngest users on Tildes. I'm also a dedicated lurker, so I'm glad I finally have something to say.

My father, an educated lawyer, and in my opinion a very good man, voted for Trump. He voted for him because he promised economic growth, something which he thinks is far more important to the average person than anything Hilary campaigned on. And he's probably right. He and my mother are also devout Catholics, so they of course voted against Hilary because of her views on abortion, among other issues that ran counter to their religion. But that's ironic, when a man like Donald Trump is in the picture, right?

Despite being otherwise reasonable people, they doubt the existence of climate change. My father has told me he thinks the world is more durable than that. I keep meaning to show him studies, just to see if he'll listen to reason. I think what happened is that they've been Republican forever, so they always watched Fox News.

Sorry, I'm rambling. My point is that there are people like my father everywhere, of varying degrees of intelligence. And if they're like my father, they hate admitting when they're wrong.

I often get the feeling from liberals that they wish they could just make things better. That the world should be forced to be as it ought to be. But that's just not going to happen. Even if it did, it wouldn't end well. We still live in a democracy, a pseudo-one at least, with things like gerrymandering, but I think that before we 'kill them all' we need to try a little goddamn harder. Trump would not have won if the Democratic Party had had the balls to back Bernie. They are not doing nearly enough to combat Trump's rhetoric, or attack any of his many, many weaknesses. Literally days ago, he admitted that his son met with Russians for information on Hilary. I should be watching him get strung up by his shoelaces in a court!

What I'm trying to say is that we need to go on the offensive, instead of always ceding the initiative. I hope I made sense, I post very rarely.

    The Cheese Omelette.

    1. Break eggs, beat in a cup.
    2. Put salt and pepper in eggs and beat it some more.
    3. Heat up a pan, put eggs in pan.
    4. Grate some cheddar, sprinkle over egg in pan.
    5. After 3 minutes: turn omelette over.
    6. 3 minutes later, and after some more sprinkling, you're done.

Right now, this recipe is getting me through a six-week trip to the UK and Ireland.

Starcraft 2. I'm still playing through the protoss campaign, and then I'll start working my way up through the ranks. My brother has played it a lot more than me, and he's way better, but I'm really getting in it now. When I was younger I just played the campaigns in these Blizzard RTSes: Warcraft 3, the first Starcraft, you know. I just kinda played them casually, but now that I'm getting better at the game, and learning how to play more efficiently, I see what has given these games such a cult following. It's like real-time chess. I'm pretty sure that playing a few 1v1s is actually making me manage my time better. Construct additional pylons, my dudes.
