Preferably not to much in-game required reading. Big bonus if there's two player mode (either local or online is fine).

I am having trouble with #12 as I've never been correct with it. It has a range of 3-9 and I left it unchanged for a week without luck.
Then there are some toggles that's always been the same. I´m guessing something will happen there on January 1st.
I have figured out #15. Obviously, the range is to big to guess. Consider what it could be and try out different ideas based on that.

Comment on Looking for recommendations for sci-fi books with a 'body snatchers' theme of human possession or replacement in ~books

Monsters walk among us disguised as humans and they revel in our suffering. The protagonist is a young man who has the ability to see the monsters' true form, but no one believes him and he is wanted for killing one of them.
Disclaimer: The suspense about evil things masquerading as people and infiltrating our society is very much present, but technically it does not quite fit your requirement.
Spoiler
The monsters don´t actually replace people, they only take human form. The Thing is a classic movie in the genre and it is based on the novella Who goes there? by John W. Campbell. Highly recommend!

Allthough, there is one incorrect that seems obvious so there´s some shenanigans going on there.
I do have one question. Am I correct in assuming that the value ranges are static for each of the values? E.g. nr 10 will always be between 6 and 9?

Another one that I enjoyed is Battle Mage Farmer by Seth Ring. It is a slice-of-life story of a powerful, almost maxed out, adventurer whose latest quest simply says "retire". I've only read the first book, Domestication, so far but I intend to continue the series some day.
If you're also interested in progression fantasy, Will Wight's Cradle series is a must.

Comment on Short(er) easy reading fantasy series that isn't YA or Discworld in ~books
Falcon79 I know what you mean. I also felt the need for something light between Malazan's heavy tomes. For a quick but still satisfying and often humorous read I'd recommend K.J. Parker's Saloninus series....I know what you mean. I also felt the need for something light between Malazan's heavy tomes.
For a quick but still satisfying and often humorous read I'd recommend K.J. Parker's Saloninus series. It's three standalone novellas at around 100-120 pages each. The protagonist is dubbed the greatest philosopher of all time, but he is more a con man than anything else.
For something a bit longer, but still a light read at 350 pages, you can find Parker's Sixteen Ways to Defend a Walled City.
Otherwise, you can always look to the classic Sword and Sorcery genre. They're straight forward, no-nonsense and entertaining. Fritz Lieber's Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser is a good place to start.
I also agree on the suggestions for Sanderson's novellas, Martha Wells Murderbot Diaries and The Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny.
Happy reading!

I hacked and slashed through all the warriors just for that stupid magician to come down into the arena and one shot me with his magic. I tried blocking, I tried rolling, I tried jumping, but could never get the timing right. It did not help that you had to start over from the beginning every time. I have seen videos on it now, but I never bothered going back.

The downside is that when you finally see the villain, it is easy to be dissapointed.
Stephen King is the master of this, both the build up and the let down part, e.g. The Langoliers and It (1990).
The Day - it's a Belgian show about a hostage situation with an interesting twist. The episodes are shown in two versions where the viewpoint alternates between the inside and the outside.
