It might, I'm in the same boat, would want a few years before I would buy one given they are so new to the EV game.

Autumn is starting to set in so went for a surf before the water cools off too much. Didn't get far as the swell was too big for my skills! It was low tide so we went swimming in some rock pools....

Do you think it's paid leave thats the issue? Australians are more remote but travel more, however get 4 weeks leave plus public holidays instead of the two Americans get?

I am still not really seeing practical EV's. I want to be able to buy an EV from reputable car maker that meets my basic needs. I am a Toyota fan and would be keen to see a basic Camry or Corolla type car at a reasonable price with good range. I don't need a massive screen, 0-60 in two seconds, auto pilot etc. I need a car that will doo 500kms at highway speed that I can charge from my solar. Seems way to many cars are over optioned which blows out the price.

I didn't read all the replies as I find this stuff very hard. One mistake I made was having my little cat put to sleep at the vet. It makes me very upset as I write this to think her last minutes were scared at the vet instead of at home where she knew her surroundings. Here you can get a vet to come around to your house. Something I will do next time.

I am shocked by these comments here. I thought most people would shower daily. There is one guy who mentions he doesn't wash his hands after the bathroom!?!?

My advice would be to stay in the North (Venice will be lovely and quiet in Winter) and take some time to explore. Then do the Naples bit another time.
