It's quite nice, located in a forest and has fantastic roller coasters. It's also close to the sea for taking a dip. The sea-towns Blokhus and Løkken are close, but very touristy. They are quite nice though, especially Løkken.

Copenhagen is a wonderful city. If you want some specific recommendations, let me know what you are interested in (bakeries, restaurants, activities, etc). I know the city quite well.

Norway is great - beautiful nature, mountains, lots of places to hike and camp. It's not very different from Sweden though, but I'd go for Norway, especially if you only want to stay in the southern part. The southern part of Sweden is mostly forrest and lakes. Norway is all mountains from the south. You can find your own spots easily. Just bring mosquito repellent.

All countries are very safe, you shouldn't get any problems. Just to be sure to only camp where you are allowed to with an RV (again, I think Norway is a bit easier in this regard).

As for roads, you shouldn't have any problems - all countries have good roads for the most part.

    For bird watching:
If you get to Northern Jutland (you can take the ferry to Norway from Hirtshals) I'd recommend going a little bit out of your way and visiting the areas around Lund Fjord: https://maps.app.goo.gl/sibtgYcWJtM3HGp26

It's a big, flat area close to the coast, and it's great for bird watching. Same goes for National Park Vadehavet, but it might be quite a way off your planned route: https://maps.app.goo.gl/pWCWrSzGUjuznmU66

Denmark is mostly a very flat country with many fields. The nature is not as interesting as Norway or Sweden (and there is not much of it). If you're interested, though, I can recommend some interesting spots for hikes.

    Well, I can try.

Without spoiling too much, the book touches on some hard topics like self-harm. I personally know someone on my family who suffered from this in a period of her life, and for me the book was very insightful and relatable way to understand some of the dynamics that might be the cause of this mental struggle.

Also, I think the characters go through some of the most beautiful and realistic arcs I’ve ever read. The book was just beautifully written and that is also one of the reasons I liked it.

And even though the story was slow and very detailed, I was eager to know how the book ended, and I think that is a good sign.

I’d recommend reading a chapter or two. If you like the writing and the overall feeling, I think you will enjoy the rest of the book, even though the story is quite depressing.

I’ll never recommend it to anyone though - I think you need to find the interest for that book yourself.

I wouldn’t buy one personally, but I see the broad appeal. I’ve been seeing a lot of them on the streets, especially the last month or two.

To answer the question: Well, if my life changed for the worse, I would consider it. And I think I’ll go the Futurama route and set the timer for year 3000. It’s a nice round number, and I would love to get so far ahead in time that it would barely be recognizable- like the first time I played Mass Effect (hopefully).

The company I work for just announced they want to open a new office abroad, in Australia to be specific. We’re based in Denmark, and they’re hoping to have one person from here moving there, working full time.
We already have an office in the US, so it’s not an entirely new thing for us to open an office abroad.
However, I’m really thinking about letting the company know that I would like to go, and I think there is a pretty good chance that they would let me. My wife is open to the idea too. We have one child (she would be just over 3 when we would have to move), so it’s really good timing too…

Have any of you tried something like this? What was your experience like?

A little thing that most recipes leave out is some sort of acid. I like apple vinegar, but a little lemon juice works well too. It really brings out many of the subtle flavors of basil and the cheese.

The one game that I’ve found everyone at least wants to try is Carcassonne. It’s dead simple, pretty luck-based (even though it doesn’t feel that way), and everyone can join. And it looks fun on the kitchen table, so people are easily interested.
It’s a perfect game for house rules too, as you can make it easier or harder, depending on your mood and the players. Playing with children? Just remove some of the harder to understand rules or simplify them. It’s super fun.

My City is great too, it doesn’t require any specific board game knowledge, just a dead simple set of rules in a fun brick placement game.

    Happy Holidays!

If people are offended by a reboot, I think it’ll be a very small number of people in this case.
It was a success if you check the numbers, albeit most of it seems to have come from at-home video sales like VHS… And that’s even though the movie kinda sucks, haha.

Anaconda was my go-to VHS as a child when I wanted to watch a quick, stupid action movie. I loved that movie more than most, I think. I’m excited about a remake!
