My wife brought me a piece of fresh baked focaccia with coarse salt sprinkled on top. That was the saltiest and most delicious piece of bread I’d ever eaten. Within an hour my headache was gone and I felt right as rain.
Lesson learned: don’t neglect salt and other electrolytes!

An issue of the Magna Carta, which was wrongly catalogued as a copy in the 1940s, has been identified as original.
Harvard Law School Library bought what it thought was a stained and faded copy of the document from London book dealers Sweet & Maxwell in 1946 for 27 dollars and 50 cents.
The book dealers had acquired it at a Sotheby's auction a month earlier from a First World War pilot for £42. It was wrongly dated as being made in 1327 under King Edward III.
But two researchers have now found that the "copy" is a rare original from 1300 issued by King Edward I and is worth millions of dollars, although Harvard does not intend to sell it.

My wife and I do some gardening (I'm mostly just the shovel jockey), and even after several years of experience, some plants just don't sprout or end up wilting away. Maybe the soil is too acidic, maybe the seedling didn't get quite enough water for a week, maybe the roots got damaged beyond healing while transplanting, maybe bugs or rodents did some damage. In our experience, you'll never have 100% yield so it's a good idea to get lots of plants/seeds in the ground.
You don't necessarily need a greenhouse to grow plants from seed. This year, we sprouted several kinds of seeds by putting soil in gallon ziploc bags, closed them 80% to keep moisture and warmth in while still letting air exchange, and held them up by poking a stick through the top. It worked great.
Sneak peeks at your neighbors' gardens. Odds are they have similar soil, sun, and rain conditions that you do. Do your neighbors always have huge success with bell peppers or cucumbers? Give those a try. In our area, there are often plant sales put on by neighborhood gardeners this time of year. They usually love to talk about their process. Keep an eye out for roadside signs, flyers on billboards, etc., buy a few of their plants (almost always just a few bucks each), and ask away.
The back of the seed packet is also a great source of information. It'll let you know how much sun, water, and fertilizer to give, what kind of soil is best, etc.

I have extremely high confidence that I’m the first person to ever type out that number, but it’s still made up of the same 10 digits we already know. It’s not terribly exciting or meaningful. Once you’ve seen all the variations of sky, ground, plants, animals, then randomizing them isn’t very exploratory.

I ended up picking up a PG42UQ 4k 120Hz OLED monitor as my primary and an LG DualUp vertical monitor as secondary. "But 42 inches is huge and the pixels must be so obvious!" They are... if you're sitting up close. I have my monitor set near the back edge of my 30" desk and I've found that having that extra ~12-18" works wonders for my eyes. I don't really have that moment where you look up from the screen and can't focus on distant things for a bit. Also, I get more desk space in front of me and leaning back in my chair doesn't have such a big impact on readability - Doing so only increases the distance to the screen by ~30% instead of 100%.
All that to say, pixel density is important, but it's also a function of distance between you and the display. Getting a new monitor is a good chance to reconsider the ergonomics of your setup overall.
To directly answer some of your questions:
is the jump from 1440 to 4k as noticeable
I think it definitely is, but I also have sharp eyesight with no glasses/contacts.
My current primary display has a low response time... is this something I can give up and not notice?
You might notice it at first, mostly when scrolling. I think it's one of those things that you stop seeing after a while.
I just moved my office into a loft with poor lighting.
What you're really looking to avoid in a dimly lit room is having a monitor that's too bright. If your can be dark but still readable, that's key. Good contrast helps with that because you're starting from a darker baseline and your monitor won't have to emit too much light to show you a readable image.
Is my fps going to take a hit from increasing the resolution of my secondary display?
Not unless you've got something else going on over there like a video being played. I see no difference in framerates with my secondary monitor (2560x2880) connected or disconnected.

Setup can be a small headache, but beyond that everything runs pretty smoothly. iMessage, FaceTime, 5G, etc. all work flawlessly. Visual Voicemail in the native app is a little hit-or-miss, but Google provides their Fi app that provides good visual voicemail support. iOS did bring improvements in SMS chat (no more emoji response messages that read like [👍 to "lol omg wtf"], but I don't see Google Fi support for RCS in Settings.
“I think a lot of people don’t get that my art is about animals rights”
I think that part is painfully obvious. I think that the artist doesn’t get that you don’t need to violate animal rights to make a statement on them.
