Or when I forget a jacket, it provides a plan B to never get wet or cold.

I agree, they all follow the same pattern in terms of protagonists and story progression, but I'm a sucker for this kind of plot.

I just finished Artemis by Andy Weir.

In general, it was very entertaining, but it didn't feel as good as his other books in terms of "science." This was more action-focused which is not bad, I did like the humor and how tangibly real the moon city felt.

Some of the characters are also great, humor-wise, the protagonist's quick comebacks and Svoboda always cracked me up.

I will try to read something from the past Tildes book club submissions since I found some real gems there, like Elder Race or Hyperion.

I would go to more art expositions if it weren't always about some low-effort snob. I saw many times "artists," who basically record their exotic vacations in a blurry way and sell it as a deep, life-changing experience, for me, art should represent some beauty, tragedy, or emotion in a clearer way since it is exposing the view of someone else to teh public.

I find some of this content through archive.org, but their search is not the best.

Trine 5, what a beautiful game, every scene is completely gorgeous, and the puzzles are all entertaining without being too hard.

I have 2 main 4k Dell monitors, one vertical.
And two small monitors that I use all the time for all the devices I have to support.

I also open my laptop screen when I have a meeting, so I don't have to obstruct any work view.

I enjoyed that read, I can see the phantom obligation on other fields, I used to finish each book that I started, the realization that I can simply stop reading what I don't enjoy freed me from the part I didn't like about reading and long term it gave me time to move to other books that I enjoy much better.

I would like to make an RSS reader following this philosophy, maybe the river one where articles float down stream and I can use a fishing rod to reel anything that hooks as my day read, it could be that is not practical, but it would be certainly interesting.

In some way I pity all these millionaires, instead of actually enjoying their money they are hated by their families, and have to be constantly in litigation and issues that otherwise they would not have if they simply stop to think "Do I have enough?"

They clearly don't need more money, don't need more visibility, but still continuously do the most out of taste things like selling MAGA merch on the White House, it's a level of greed and embarrassment that reaches no end, for something they don't need.

I did two changes this week, I blocked all the sites I don't want to be addicted in my router and I started to go to a library, and honestly It feels great, my focus is far better and I don't fill my mind with nonsense visiting the same sites on a loop.

I can only visit social sites if I'm outside, where I won't spend as much time.

I use a pretty niche one µLauncher, gesture based, at first I thought the gestures would be painful to memorize, but I was completely wrong, it's so much fast to trigger my common apps, I could never go back.

To get an idea of how it works, the screen it's divided in sections like left right, top bottom, center, and actions like swipe up, down, double tap; for example my reading app is a long press, maps are right swipe+up, messaging app left swipe+down, browser is center swipe down, etc

It's very minimalistic, and widgets are not encouraged, although some are supported.

This January was my lowest in terms of exercising in a long time, the permanent ice did not motivate me to practice calisthenics outside, and I don't do much or enjoy it as much when I train inside.

I did bike to work as usual but again very slowly due to ice, I have to mentalize myself better and realize that one I'm outside the ice or snow is never an issue.

My focus this year should go to increase my front-leaver time and practice some planche progressions.
