    Last time I played I fought a sleeping bear Barathrumite with cybernetic implants that fired plant growth grenades at me. His chromelings killed me pretty quick though.

    NixOS really is an exciting project! I use it for a personal server and a handful of servers at work. It requires a kind of paradigm shift in one's thinking (more so, the longer one has used traditional linux distros) but the advantages are pretty great! I feel like I have just been scratching the surface as well, some of the Nix wizards out there are doing such arcane things..

    My 2nd major hobby is growing and collecting succulents. They are like cactuses without the spines. There are so many variants, and sometimes they really look like alien vegetation. getting little cuttings is pretty cheap and watching them grow from a little leaf to a big plant is really rewarding. They also need very little water, so it's perfect for people who otherwise have a black thumb and can't remember to water their plants :)

    My nickname has been through several iterations. As a kid, I dreamt up an online name for myself that ended in -blue. That got boring, so I changed it to -red. Then it needed to be 1337, and it changed to -r3d. That username is taken most often, so r5d it is. Coincidentally, R is the first letter of my real name and D is the last, with 5 letters in between. So it fits.

    Who can guess my name?
