My 2.5 year old is starting daycare this August and it was through a mom page on facebook that we found all our options. We eventually settled on a local daycare that's been in the community over 50 years, so had a ton of reviews/feedback for us to look at.

I can disagree with someone's beliefs, politics, decisions etc, but still love them as a person. We are not called to judge people, but that's the opposite of what I'm seeing in the world now. -

Healthcare cost in general? - Because they can get away with it. I can tell you that the industry considers the US a very big market, which is mainly due to the lack of real restrictions on drug prices/healthcare cost..... which is just sad for us living here.

Same thing with wipe warmers - not needed. -

- Accept help. Having our family/friends come over to hold the baby just so I could sleep was a blessing.
- It's okay that you don't bond with the baby as soon as you hold him/her. My husband didn't bond until a few weeks after delivery, while for me it was instant.
- Be patient with your wife and keep an eye out if she's had depression before or even if she hasn't for PPD (Postpartum Depression). I asked this of my husband to not only be patient with me but also be aware of the possibility. Sometimes as women, we don't see it because we're in the hormones/emotions after delivery.

Now, it's muscle memory to grab it, use it, and hang it back.

I work in Pharma and I'm well aware that side effects of vaccines (though that's not my area of research) is definitely a thing. So kudos to both of you!!

It might be that she tried but couldn't find an appointment that was soon enough considering how urgent her case is. Another idea is how fast this lawsuit came up and a decision was made - I felt it was pretty quick. So this might have been the faster way for her. Or she did both and waited to see which one would come through faster for her....

It just baffles me that they're arguing that the state wold be directly harmed and threatening to sue the hospitals/doctors. This is craziness..... I wonder how this response would impact the ongoing lawsuit now that the state is responding this way.

I work for a company that offers good leave and work remotely, but having a child is still a sacrifice and requires some serious discussions. And I'm pregnant with number 2. For me, a big part of this dread is childcare cost, increase in maternity mortality, high cost of medical care even with insurance, sacrifice in pay increases while on leave etc. Not to talk about the sacrifice you make emotionally and with your time making this decision.
Ohhhh... that's sad! She was pretty awesome!
