They mention similar challenges with burgers, etc. From those I have seen in that category, chefs generally try to not use too many other ingredients outside what is provided.

But they're pretty good at YouTube marketing so they trend towards a clickbait thumbnail/title but have enjoyable content in my experience.

I really like that they're giving Kush more airtime. I wish they would have more of the kitchen staff helping on camera too. I think they could have something really interesting that way. I'm glad...

I'm glad they have two chefs again as well. I love Ben, but I also appreciate other perspectives from their team.

I fell off of Sorted for a bit but did they ever explain where James went? I always loved his relative level-headed-ness to the other guys, even though Jamie is my favorite

According to his LinkedIn, he started working as a Development Sous Chef for Mindful Chef (a recipe box service) after leaving Sorted. He eventually worked his way up to become their Culinary Lead, but now he works as Head of Food for "Dish" (no idea what that is, and can't find any info on it).

Edit: Dish might be this: https://foodbydish.com/ "London’s finest event caterers"

BTW, he has come back to the channel a few times over the years for some videos. E.g. Last month he participated in the Sub-10 Minute Burger Challenge.

And yeah, it looks like James got exactly what he wanted out of his new jobs. He went from working under a head chef, which he seemed really excited about when he left, to basically being the head chef there. And now he's the lead somewhere new. Dish actually looks like an incredibly high-end event catering company too, so he's probably making all sorts of fancy shmancy stuff for the well-to-do now. :P

Yeah, it's beefy looking. And honestly probably way too much power for me too. So I would probably go for an older Triumph first instead, like the TR65 Thunderbird.

Nice, but a bit of a pain to maintain. Should consider one of the Triumph Bonneville models. The bobber is beefy without being ridiculous like the Rocket. Or a Moto Guzzi V9 is solid.

I really like the look of the older Bonneville's (and even the new model too) though, so it would be no big loss for me to go with one of them instead.

The older the bike the scarcer the parts are, and the more they cost. And the older the machine the more you're going to need them.

If you want something affordable to buy and cheap to maintain, a Royal Enfield Interceptor is the way to go. Insanely good value for money, very nice to ride, and looks the part.

I'm enjoying the chemistry between him and the rest of the team.

There was a time when "other ben" (Ben Slater, one of the other development chefs) was doing videos on TikTok and they were great, but he stopped and then took them all down which is a shame. I was hoping they'd be remade for YouTube somehow, but so far it doesn't seem to have happened.

My SortedFood claim to fame is that I am the Dan Beale-Cocks mentioned in this video (at 1:13): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07sLmuctsf8

Subway is at least supposed to pretend to be healthy but they started with one of their least healthy options and went way downhill from there. :P
