While a pretty small thing, I really enjoy this addition because it always bugged me how the music would cut out as soon as I stepped out of the car to start a fight.
You can now listen to the radio while on foot (or while riding the NCART train) using the new Radioport feature. Available while you explore, it switches seamlessly to car radio whenever you get in a vehicle and turns off when quest-specific music starts playing. It is now also possible to adjust the volume directly in the radio window.

But they never play. It's always Ponpon Shit, or Hole in the Sun, or History. Like, all the time. I never hear anything else. I just went to look up the playlist and it says there's fifteen songs on Body Heat FM, but you'd never know it.

in our universe, we were in secret early access for 3 years, and now, finally, the game is complete. I can only imagine the regret some of the senior devs at CDPR must be feeling. They would have been praised up as one of the best independent game dev studios on the planet if CP77 had actually released in this state, and if they had marketed it slightly differently - as an open-world action game with RPG elements.
I've seen it being compared (in particular, the PL DLV elements) to Starfield, and the way the latter falls short is shocking. Once someone brought up the night-and-day differences in cutscene...

Thanks, I hate it. For real though, a lot of these are just mods that've been around for a minute. I wonder if they used the mods or just made their own.
Smasher will now be able to activate Sandevistan.

CDPR has a pretty good track record where integrating mods is a concern. They've requested permissions, included them in credits, and even hired some mod makers on.

Interesting that there are content additions in this patch. It’s not just fixes. I sort of expected Phantom Liberty to drop and they’d walk on new additions. Maybe these were just in the queue.

I've not played this for over a year. Think I'll start again with a new character. Any advice on the best starting "life" with respect to all that new content and new skills tree?

Lifepath doesn't really effect gameplay or story outside of the immediate intro. I always feel like streetkid makes the most sense with the way V is written, though.

As someone that just now bought it, any suggestions on the most fun character to play? Usually I like playing stealthy characters but I don’t know how fun stealth is in CP77

Now the torture of that one song from Body Heat FM will follow you wherever you go! :D
I really hope you're referring to Ponpon Shit, because that's my favorite song in the game and reading all the hate for it cracks me up.
It cracks us up

Yeah, 4 songs is very few. I hope there's a mod that lets us add custom ones.
Now I have to deal with the fact that my V is being unsafe and driving around with headphones on!

So I guess cyberware malfunction now gets stacked with overheat while fighting him. Wonder if there’s anything else I should be doing…
