And I'm sure this site's users will have no problem finding ROMs, but here's a link just in case to Vimm's which is a good starting point if you're looking to play around with Delta.

Be aware that the Delta emulator is really bad for the N64. Even stock ROMs crash like crazy on that emulator.

Is there another N64 emulator for iOS that works well? And any word if its dev wants to bring it to the app store?

Do you know how the DS emulation is? I’ve been dying to play rhythm heaven on my phone forever!

My benchmark that I check for is a particular graphic effect that emulators such as DraStic and DeSmuME don't do, but that melonDS does perfectly (MaBoShi level transitions feature a mosaic fade)

I have absolutely no idea for any of the emulation outside the N64. I just do N64 hacks and have seen a ton of weird behavior with the Delta emulator. Vanilla ROMs crash regularly and hacks crash...

Sonic Rush runs great on my iPhone 15 Pro. You will have to go find the 3 needed DS files to make games run, though.

They're easily findable on archive.org, thankfully. Not sure if we're allowed to post the links here?

This is great. I don't have nostalgia for retro games as I had limited exposure to them in my childhood, but this means I can finally play Tetris without all the fluff. It is quite cheeky of Apple...

It is quite cheeky of Apple to allow these apps right when alternative app stores are being implemented, as mandated by the EU, though. It's as if they want to limit the number of people who'd go outside of the App Store bubble, as I'd imagine most people wanted to sideload just so they can play their favorite games without Apple's patently ridiculous limitations.

What a time to be alive! Loving it. I'm playing one of the greatest games of all time, MaBoShi DS, on my iPhone! Praise Iwata.

Never thought I'd see the day. I'm assuming these things can't use JIT compilation though, yeah?

New rules, they can use whatever they want I think. But the boundaries of the rules are still being tested.

I'd assume VMs are right out since the call-out was for retro game emulators. Compatibility layers would be... interesting. Dolphin would probably be a no, for the same reason it was taken off Steam?
